My wife brought home a bottle of the BIB once but she hasn’t seen it in a while - at least not in Southeast Asia. For the price I thought it was pretty good. Every Jack Daniels I’ve ever had has a strong bananas taste to me. Even the heritage single barrels. I don’t dislike it but I think it’s just my palate it really stands out to me.It would have been Sinatra's 104th Birthday. Oh I love it. That's my third bottle. It's my favorite version of Jack I've ever had. The BiB is a close 2nd favorite, but it's hard to get being you can only get it in duty free shops. I will say that I won't open my century bottle until my son's 21st (he's only 4 now) so I have a long wait.
I like it. The banana that I always get from Jack is subdued and I get more of the wood with some other sweetness. I’m not good at describing it but I think its my favorite Jack. Haven’t tried the Sinatra tho. I think their rye is very underrated.I don't know how I could have forgotten about the heritage barrels. It is excellent at least the 2018 version. I heard the 2019 is different, haven't seen it around here yet.
I have not but worth a shot...or five.I’m going to try one of their whiskey flights after I get a few beers in me. You heard of them @bignewt?
