Whisky, bourbon or scotch and what's your favorite?

I haven’t gotten any of this years bookers. I’ve still got last years. Are the the last few any good? I think the one currently in my store is beaten biscuits

It would have been Sinatra's 104th Birthday. Oh I love it. That's my third bottle. It's my favorite version of Jack I've ever had. The BiB is a close 2nd favorite, but it's hard to get being you can only get it in duty free shops. I will say that I won't open my century bottle until my son's 21st (he's only 4 now) so I have a long wait.

My wife brought home a bottle of the BIB once but she hasn’t seen it in a while - at least not in Southeast Asia. For the price I thought it was pretty good. Every Jack Daniels I’ve ever had has a strong bananas taste to me. Even the heritage single barrels. I don’t dislike it but I think it’s just my palate it really stands out to me.

I don't know how I could have forgotten about the heritage barrels. It is excellent at least the 2018 version. I heard the 2019 is different, haven't seen it around here yet.

I like it. The banana that I always get from Jack is subdued and I get more of the wood with some other sweetness. I’m not good at describing it but I think its my favorite Jack. Haven’t tried the Sinatra tho. I think their rye is very underrated.

Stopped in Total Wine in Knoxville to pick up a beer order and managed to snag a bottle of Eagle Rare. Apparently I had just missed the Blanton’s as I saw several people with those in their carts. Weller was $25 which was slightly lower than the $70 I saw yesterday.

Probably a long shot, but has anyone tried this? Stopped at a brewery in Whitehorse and it had a distillery too apparently.

Saw a Midwinter Night's Dram go down to a tall drink mixed with coke or something at a bar downtown last night. It was heartbreaking.
