White supremacist mows down mosque in NZ

Not speaking out is agreement
You (not personally just the average group member) cannot complain that “everyone assumes we’re all terrorist” if you don’t openly and publicly denounce the acts of terror.

Like @joevol33 just did as a Baptist.
Clearly he’s not in agreement with Westboro Baptist

That some liberal media PC virtue signaling hogwash that you’ve carried over from your days as a democrat?

Why does somebody have to speak out about and condemn terrorism in order to not be believed to be a terrorist? Terrorism is inherently wrong. Murder of innocent people is wrong.

Why would you ever assume another person’s. approves of terrorism in any form without some reason?

I didn’t come in this thread and say “aw man, this is really terrible.” Of course it’s terrible, 49 people were murdered. It goes without saying. If you need me to come in here and say “mass murder is bad“ in order to not assume I’m okay with it, the problem isn’t me.

If somebody here experiences a tragedy, I’ll say something to offer condolences. But just calling out into the void to let people know I’m not a terrorist? No thanks.

You think anybody here thought Joe was a member of Westboro Baptist? Seriously? Are there any members of Weatboro Baptist here that learned the error of their ways from Joe’s comment? All Joe did was tell everybody he doesn’t condone behavior that only a real ass hole would have assumed he condoned.

Criticising each other to try to better our collective group is worthwhile. Virtue signaling or patting each other on the back to affirm each other’s beliefs is stupid.

True. Fear is the easy path. I had to work at not fearing nukes, muslims, ebola, kidnapping, food poisoning and many other sensational stories du jour.
If WBC ever grabbed a foothold of legitimacy in this country, I'd fight against it.
WBC? I'm not familiar with that.

Who do you mean by their?

Idk how you can’t figure out who the “they” referenced by the word “their” is.

There’s a massive statistical anomaly when it comes to Islam and mass murder. If the issue isn’t their religion, what is it?

He is the closest thing to the anti-Christ I have seen in my lifetime.

All true, which is precisely why I claim that people who are easily manipulated (propagandized) into hating other people are a big part of the problem and share the same basic characteristics regardless of race, religion, or nationality...gullible and non-thinking.

Lol I’m amazed you can have these two thoughts, back to back and not see any issue.

Lol “it’s everyone else who’s manipulated into hating others! But me believing one man is the antichrist, my hatred is perfectly valid and in no way related to me being easily manipulated”

That's luther, in a NUT shell.

Luther can balance competing concepts in his cranium.

But doesn't ever try to reconcile them. "Hey. Wait a minute. Could there be a conflict in my thinking here?", said no luther ever.
I suspect he does. Just not here. Not ever.

Again, pull your head out of your ass and quit believing articles by people who are commanded to lie to you.

The REAL ARROGANCE is you sttempting to tell me that i am wrong about a book that I HAVE read that you apparently HAVE NOT.
lol.....I would venture to guess that there are many that have read the bible and have a completely different interpretation than do you. If reading a book made one an expert on its content then there would be no disagreement.

He made a Facebook post saying everyone will call him insane but that nothing will be done about it. That people just “send thoughts and prayers”. The whole thing seemed to be a plea for stricter gun laws

Borderline Gunman Posted on Facebook About 'Thoughts and Prayers' Before Shooting

This is plausible, maybe probable, but much less obvious than you made it seem.

With respect to post 2, this is not that complicated: There is a subset of Muslims who believe they have a religious justification for mass murder. To conclude from that that “all Muslims are bad” is a nonsequitor.

Since it’s come up, there is a subset of Christians who believe they have a religious justification for protesting at the funeral of fallen soldiers. To conclude from that that “all Christians are bad” is also a nonsequitor.

Lol and I bet you still wonder why Charles Manson couldn’t get all those wonderful songs he wrote recorded also .
Ol Luth is right. No need for that, one=one. Your are personably responsible for every horrible thing done in the name of Christ. Share your confession child.

What? Did you seriously just compare the 40 to 100 members of wacko WBC to the number of Muslim jihadists worldwide?

I’m not missing the point at all. It just isn’t a good point, even if it were accurate (it’s not). You’re overvaluing it.

I really don’t know how better to explain it other than exactly what I said. There’s a whole thread in this forum where you guys bicker about what the Bible says. I can name a half-dozen Christian denominations off the top of my head... Because religious texts are subject to interpretation.

There are approximately 2 billion Muslims in the world. If an indisputable pillar of their religion was blowing you up, there’d be a bombing every day.
Terrorist attacks in 2017, by country | Statistic

About that. There were more than 8000 terrorist attacks in 2017. 47 percent were bombings. So even if only 10 percent of those bombings were by Islamic terrorists there would be more than 1 a day.

If your good I bet Luther will let you look at his family invitation from Jim Jones to come visit Jonestown or where he invited Dahmer , Gacy and the son of Sam to come to Sunday school with him . None of those match the horrific things Trump is doing . 😂

I hate people who promote hate. Trump is king and it's not so much because he is actually a hater but because he realizes his power lies in his ability to manipulate the gullible and those with a high propensity for hatred . That's what makes him antichrsit-like. To be a good antichrist, you cannot be immediately recognizable as the antichrist to everyone.
