Tennessee's is recognized as one of the top NIL programs. Maybe number one.

Losing Seaton today was not because of money. Other schools thought he was coming here because of our money for him. Colorado did not give him what we would have.

We are able to pay for players. The money is there. But we don't chose to try to outspend everyone else for players. Certain ones, we might. Most no.

They evaluate and decide how much a player is worth to them. Several sources outside UT have been saying no one would match UT for Seaton. In the end, money didn't matter.

Even more disappointing that we can't dominate recruiting when we're better set up than anyone.

I would have to think those rankings are just based off Nico getting 8 Mil.

Maybe UT was highest bidder but I’m pretty sure Colorado was pretty close. As long as the money is in the same ballpark, they probably choose the school they like for whatever reason. It is not always the highest bidder.

This is college football. Completely different sports. It tells me that Colorado paid more than we did. This is a hat college football is now. I mean Deion got Travis Hunter (#1 overall) to commit to Jackson State. Come on man. Hunter could have went anywhere but he chooses Jackson State?

It’s because of our ridiculous “we don’t overpay crap.” Look at Auburn. Flipping 5* from Bama and UGA. And looking to flip another one from FSU. How are they doing it? They are willing to do whatever it takes to get the best players. We aren’t. We are using EBT cards while other schools are using American Express Black cards. It ridiculous.

NIL has screwed up college football. They should have offered the kids 10k in cash along with scholarship. No one gets more or less. Hell all they really wanted in the beginning was damn spending money.

Every year there is someone that Sanders has targeted to throw a bunch of money at to get them at the school. This year it was a highly ranked lineman because they are hurting soo bad on the lines. The rest of the class is not ranked that high. That is part of his bling.
