Holy Crap, I just realized West Virginia lost to LSU by 26 but beat Clemson by seven bazillion. That being said there should be no National Champion this year. And yes, I know college football.

The NC game probably should have been an SEC rematch the last six years. The second best SEC team is still better than any other conference champion.

I would stay it was a combination of quite a few things, it was a failure on many parts... coaches and players, plus a Bama team that came to play.

the whole purpose for the bcs is to have an undisputed champion. I find it interesting that some people say they want a playoff so it can be decided on the field, yet they won't recognize teh winner of a "national championship game".
This coming from a guy that hates Alabama with the burning passion of a thousand STDs.

Like I said, if all the major polls call Bama the champs, then it is what it is.

But since this exhibition game played months after the end of the season all of a sudden matters more than one played earlier, then nobody can say that regular season games matter. If regular season games mattered, LSU would have a share of the championship with the team they went .500 against.

They matter, they are part of the complete work. Lose 20-17 last night you get a share. Get your ass smoked as they did and you get nothing.

everybody knew this was the big game if you cant show up in it you dont deserve to be the champ

and if your coach is too dumb to try the other QB he benched for 2 picks in a game he won but wont bench jefferson at the end of the 3rd to try something different in the title game you aint the champ

At the end of the day they played twice and split. One win does not count more than the other. This isn't soccer

if this was the final game of march madness, everyone would recognize Bama as NC regardless of the regular season. Its beyond stupid to not do the same for football whatever the system is
