Anyone saying we could've won 10 without him is nuts. He literally made it happen despite that OL.Maybe you need to dive a little deeper into how important Sampson is. Take a look at this and you tell me if we win 10 without him and he is just easily replaceable.

Sellers
Any RB we have is going to be used a ton in this offense because 1) that is what Heupel's offense is predicated upon and 2) to a certain degree, Heupel has wanted to not lean on his RS freshman QB too much. The Sampson TD number is awesome and should be celebrated, but a ton of his TDs are 1 and 2 yard rushes at the goal line (Samp isn't the only back who can get those) and 8 of the 22 TDs (36%) came against UTC, Kent St, and UTEP. I'm not saying that he hasn't had an awesome season or that he isn't important.Maybe you need to dive a little deeper into how important Sampson is. Take a look at this and you tell me if we win 10 without him and he is just easily replaceable.

You have shifted your argument. And for you to mention Mike Trout and Diego Pavia in the same sentence is just wrong. Mike Trout was the best player in all of baseball before the injuries starting happening. People don’t just happen to win 3 AL MVPs and 7 top 2 finishes out of 8 seasons in the AL MVP voting. Pavia will NEVER be anything close to what Mike Trout is/was for the sport of baseball.
re-read what I posted. I said any player from a 6-6 team should never be considered for any award. Last time I checked, baseball plays 162 games. That is an extremely large sample size for an everyday player in a very long season. Baseball is viewed differently from football. Good job on your reading comprehensionYou have shifted your argument.
You said a player from a bad team can't be considered for a POY award. I pointed out that's a foolishly rigid line, and gave you an example.
It must have worked, because now you have shifted to discussing Pavia's merits. Good job, you're making progress. .
There you go, pivoting again.re-read what I posted. I said any player from a 6-6 team should never be considered for any award. Last time I checked, baseball plays 162 games. Beck would've never been benched. he threw all those ints but still played good.Beck is laughable. If he wasn’t paid so much, he would have been benched. Didn’t he throw like 11 ints in 5 games.
Honestly, no one really separated themselves from the competition.
Sampson fumbled more in the last 4 games than he did from 3rd grade through Sophomore year at UT.
Dart has his highs and lows.
Ryan Williams has struggled a bit late in the season.
Jalen Mildew is trash.
Give it to Pavia, he’s the difference in. 6-6 Vandy and 2-10 Vandy. Impressive victories and some tough, hard fought losses.
We are talking about the freaking conference player of the year. Walk into any program in the country and tell them you think Diego Pavia was the best player in the SEC this season and you would be laughed off campus. The fact you still believe he is worthy of such an award just shows you know nothing about the sport and the SEC in particular. GTFOThere you go, pivoting again.
You clearly felt players from 6-6 team can't be considered because the team is not successful enough. Sample size has nothing to do with it. Same sample as a 12-0 team, right?
I just disagree. Players shouldn't be disqualified strictly because they are on poor teams.
When teams figure out sellers he’ll come back to earth. Sellers has been able to sneak up on people this season, but next year I’m expecting a sophomore slump.Impressed with Sellers but it's funny how people love him but knock Nico. Nico has better stats across the board as a passer.
QBR, Passer rating, TD:INT ratio, TDs, yards, completions.
The big difference is Sellers has nearly double the amount of rushing attempts.
You GTFO.We are talking about the freaking conference player of the year. If you think it’s Sampson then wtf are you arguing with me aboutYou GTFO.
Sampson should get it. My only pushback WAAAY up there was to your statement that players from 6-6 teams can't be considered. Nowhere did I say Pavia was worthy.
This is now the 3rd time you've shifted your argument. Bye, troll. Ignored.
