You're right, the scoreboard is all that mattered last year...and the great thing is, none of that matters tomorrow night.

reasonable...have you been to LSU for a football game. You talk big and almost lose to a team that was losing to Duke at halftime. Sorry but you're still coached by Phil and he still has a losing record vs Spurrier

But Fulmer is 12-1 against South Carolina, so the edge of Spurrier is far less meaningful.

sorry i could careless to predict scores, offensive production etc. that's the teams' jobs. they play the game. 23-21 would be a good score....13-15 could be the score who knows!
predicting a game is next to impossible in college football...unless you play FAU, Temple, etc.

no it doesn't matter. players that played in the game remember how losing felt, so i'm sure there's something in the back of their mind about last season...but it doesn't help USC one bit and it doesn't help us one bit.

but you USC trolls that have shown up this week expect us to just give you all this respect cause of last year and what you've done this year...

and then wonder why you don't get it...

here's why:
1. Play and beat somebody. you are going to have to bring more to the table than FL Atlantic, Wofford, MSU, VAndy and KY. your highlight of the season was losing to Auburn.
2. You beat us last year...with a ton of help. and Vandy beat us last year too. congrats...you beat the worst TN team in 20 years.
3. Spurrier owns TN...can't argue that at all. but for USC to start the "we" own TN is just stupid. you don't get ownership by association.

Other than that...it's all hot air to this point. the game still has to be played and until it's over anyone can still win it. we do know that. but we also know that if we play our game, and don't make mistakes, we will win. We don't need any magical performance or luck or anything else. We know we can line up and beat you. For USC to win, you need help (like last year) and you'll have to play the best game of the year. And that is certainly possible. but your best game of the year so far has still resulted in a loss to Auburn.

so forgive us if we're not bowing down to gamecock nation.

Cal was first game of the season...lmao. Sorry but I don't normally consider the first couple games of the season worth much compared to the last games. We looked like crap the first three games of the season going 2-1. You mature and grow over the year(unless you're UGA and you just get worse). therefore you can't expect the same exact team to step on the field that played the first game of the season.

Solid post Jake, but it's not just about us. Some of the SC fans are predicting winning the SEC East. The stores in SC must be out of whip-its..
