Until further notice, just assume you're not funny. We'll let you know if anything changes.

This has been a Volnation Public Service Announcement.

Why are you writing what the little voice inside your head says to you on a sports message board? Please, seek help immediately.

please don't kick gamecock off until at least monday.. he has promised to come back sunday and i want to see what happens. i'm not guaranteeing a victory, but I want to see what happens if we get one

Where does the SC running game stand?

I'd feel better about the game if Newton was moved tot he starting QB position after this game. Rice and McKinley are also weapons I'm worrying about.

SC RB Cory Boyd is their best 438 yds his best 2 games has been the last 2 games 120 vs Kentucky and 116 vs Vandy.

Not been following the thread??

Some stats to consider. Overall defensive ranking of South Cackilacky opponents:

MSU-66
UGA-12
Wofford-Doesn't play defense
FAU-87
AU-30
UK-119
VU-48
UT-19

Yeah, the Vols have a better D statistically than the great Auburn Tiggers. USC and Arkansas are hanging so much on how they played against AU but AU's defense isn't stellar this year. Against the two top D's USC has played, they scored zilch vs UGA and 17 vs AU. Gonna need more than 17 to win Saturday night, Gamecock.

Does anyone know where UT`s defense is rated so far this year?

UT is rated #19 in total defense and has faced an average of the #51 offense in D-1A.

SC is rated #34 in total defense and has faced an average of the #87 offense in D-1A.

SC's highest ranked total offense they have faced is Auburn at #59.

Tennessee has played #9 Cal, #25 Florida, and #51 Alabama.

Whose defense is best?

I promise....Ill be here Sunday. I dont think I have ever stated that we were going to beat the crud out of UT. However, I think that we do have a chance to win. And I think that chance is larger than most UT fans are willing to admit.. Most of you cant see past your nose because youre way to full of yourself.

Yes we are full of ourselves and you are full of something else.

Lou Holtz likes Spurrier, for one. I'm also pretty sure I heard Lou stutter through the following sentence on ESPNEWS this evening, "Right now, South Carolina is a better team than Tennessee."

LMAO!!!! Holtz doesn't know what he's talking about, I was at our high school game and didn't get to see that, I wish I was here and could hear it when he said that LOL

Listening to Lou last night during the VT/Clemson game was ridiculous...could he be more of a homer?

but oh well....we take care of business Sat night, it won't matter.

"and ND could end up playing for the NC.....and SC may win the SEC east..... "

this is the only year i have actually liked Mark May because he looks at Lou after he starts talking sometimes, like i would look at lou after he starts talking.:pilot:

Yes not COMPLETE until Sat. I think being loyal is a good thing but his job on espn is to give a fair analysis.
from reading this it is obvious UT fans aren't thinking right now and are over confident....
Using UT logic about last years USC/UT game and applying it to USC's two losses this year would mean USC beat themselves in both loses. Instead of accepting the fact that at the time we were worse than UGA we use UT logic and say how we beat ourselves.
Friends a loss is a loss is a loss. It doesn't matter if you supposedly beat yourselves. The problem last year was you could not stop USC from driving down the field and kicking a game winning field goal. You didn't beat yourselves you just got beat.
