OK, now who is buying this? And look at the weasel wording. There may or may not have been US or British divers involved. The divers may have been from another country. But there is no way you can convince me that the US and Brits didn't help coordinate this or supply the materials.

I remember reading after it happen that there were only 4 or 5 countries that could possible pull this off, one reason was the water depth. So now it appears just about any country could have done it.

Between June and July 2022, months before Nord Stream’s destruction, the CIA sent out a warning to its German homologue, the BND, as well as other European services, that a group might be preparing an attack on the pipeline, according to intelligence officials familiar with the notification.

The warning included information about three Ukrainian nationals who were trying to rent out ships in countries bordering the Baltic Sea, including Sweden, these officials said.

The pipelines are only 2-300 feet deep.

Dude, that was the same time period that Seymour Hersch claimed that we planted the bombs during NATO exercises that went on during that time.

Russian ship spotted near Nord Stream pipelines days before sabotage: Reports

A Danish patrol boat detected a Russian vessel near the Nord Stream gas pipelines four days before they were sabotaged in multiple blasts, according to media reports.

The defense command confirmed it had 26 images of the SS-750 Russian navy ship, which carries a small submarine that is designed to carry out underwater operations, photographed from a Danish patrol boat in the vicinity of the pipelines on September 22, 2022, local newspaper Dagbladet Information reported Thursday.

Four days later, on September 26, 2022, explosions ripped through three of the four Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines, which link Russia to Germany through the Baltic Sea and are part-owned by Russia’s Gazprom.

Let's step back from this for a moment.

The outlet said Chervinsky and the group of six people rented a sailboat under false identities and used deep-sea diving equipment to place explosive charges on the gas pipelines.

So I am supposed to believe that these guys loaded a sailboat with ~1500-2000 lbs of explosives plus the necessary diving equipment and with a crew of 6 people. I've been around to see divers work at some of these hydro plants and they are usually only doing 40-50 ft dives most of the time... not ~80 ft. The amount of equipment needed for a routine dive like that cannot easily fit on a sailboat of this size. You're a smart guy. This is a BS cover story. Seymore Hersch's story makes more sense. The explosives were likely planted during a large NATO exercise in June/July 2022.
