Who will be Florida's new football coach if Muschamp gets fired after this season?

Do you actually think another year may be needed to know Muschamp is the problem ?

I predict Lane Kiffin will be roaming the sidelines of the gators next year as the HC.

I'm not sure another SEC school would take a chance on him being the HC. I could be wrong though.

It's time he went to another conference and wrecked one of their teams. He's got the SEC and PAC12 marked off his list. Michigan or an ACC team should be next.

He was a hot name his early yrs but hasn't been mentioned much lately.

If he wins 8+ this season he'll have picks of jobs.

The question is...

Will Florida look into the SEC for a coach or go outside the conference like they have been doing?

I could see Todd Graham getting a strong look.

I'm not sure a P5 coach that's been in contention to win their conference will look at a lateral move like that. Going from the PAC-12 where he only has 3, maybe 4 teams to contend with every year to the SEC where it's any given Saturday?

Ruffin McNeil is the hotness right now. Depending on the coaching carousel, he'll be at the top of anyone's list. I could see Florida making a grab.

Mike Riley would be a very good candidate along with Mullen.

TG is always looking for his next job. Guy isn't a lifetime coach at any stop.

I can almost guarantee you it won't be an coordinator or assistant without pervious HC experience.

Ruffin McNeil? Coach for East Carolina who just put a stomping on UNC yesterday and took USCe down to the wire practically?

Ruffin McNeil is a damn good coach. I wouldn't doubt it if He got the UNC job after they change coaches after this season.

So you'd intentionally do what Muschamp is doing right now?

I'd say you've got a 50/50 shot at this point.

Florida is looking like the Doug Dickey era at Florida 1976-1978. Too bad Florida no long has astroturf they could burn Muschamp's name in it like they did to Doug Dickey in 1977(UF fans burned Dump Doug into the turf).
