Who will be the best pro WR

I'm a little partial to Hunter now because he's on the Titans. The Titans have not had a good WR in a long time. I hope Hunter has a great career at Tennessee. But if i'm being honest CP has more up side and DR is an all around wr talent- most balanced out of the three. But you never know...I hope they all do well.

First of all, what a terrible way to show faith in our Tennessee alum. Obviously we hope they all turn out great, but imagine if they came on here and read this thread. I'm not sure it would be very encouraging to read...especially if you are Justin Hunter...

I think all three of them have what it takes to make it. At the same time, they all three have things they need to work on. They know that, though. Each of these guys are very different and bring different skills to the table. The Titans, Vikings and Bills are all lucky to have them and given the right coaching, they could all be very good.

The reason we're debating who will be the best is because we realize that all three are very good. I see what you mean regarding certain posts, but I don't think the thread itself is in poor taste.

Hunter. Some of y'all forget what he was doing before the injury and he hasn't fully gained his confidence back yet.

He's got as high a ceiling as anyone.

Kenny Britt, Kendall Wright, Nate Washington ..

Care to rethink?

As long as Da'Rick doesn't get in trouble for da weed, and can get that "get to work" mentality (which I don't think was his biggest issue overall), he will be fine. He knows what's at stake and how good he could be so...

As long as he reaches his potential, Da'Rick could be the best

If Hunter reaches his potential, he is an Aj Green type player. If Rogers reaches his potential, he is an Anquan Boldin type player. Both are very good NFL receivers, but Green's skill set is much more valuable than Boldin's.

If you play in Colorado, I would think you could smoke weed w/o repercussions right? Send Da'Rick west.

Egggzactly.

Just look at their freshman year (or even the beginning of their sophomore year) to see who's better when at full strength.

Tell that to the corners that attempted to cover Boldin in the playoffs.

Da'Rick, providing he stays away from bars and poisoning his body with dope. He has it all to be just as T.O. and Keyshawn Johnson. But like Bray, the question is where is his head, on his shoulders or stuck up his rear. If it is on their shoulders, they will both tear up the NFL big time.

i wonder how many nfl players are alcoholics and get a free pass simply because its legal...i would argue that booze is far more damaging than weed.

With the success of guys like Amendola and Wes Welker, I think you have to add ZR to that mix.

They could all be good, however, I think Da'Rick has got personality issues that will make him a team killer, Hunter is a couple of good shots away from having alligator arms permanently, and CP may not be able to handle the play books and may just wind up as a return specialist. This is worst case and I would like to see the opposite for all of them. However, these were their tendencies in college and none of them showed anywhere near their full potential during college. Tough to just turn that on in the Pros.

Amendola and Welker are both shorter guys (5'11 & 5'9, respectively) who run in the 4.6 range, but are quick. Zach Rogers is 6'1 and runs sub 4.5.

Amendola and Welker were used extensively in college. Both returned punts. Welker was a hybrid RB/WR and Amendola caught 100+ passes his senior year. Zach Rogers caught 32 passes in his most productive year and wasn't used in the return game or as a rusher.

So they're similar how, exactly?... Oh! Is it just because they're white?

Oh, so you mean no fun?

Well, if that is all the similarity you see, then you are the man. I think that given the same circumstances of the two mentioned above and also the guy that Peyton used to throw too in Indy....can't remember his name, he will do well. Yes he is white, good speed, runs meticulous routes, catches the ball, and will take a hit. Given the other attributes, race is not even on my list......I guess it is on yours. So in your opine you have to be black to be a "good" WR?

Exactly.

Da'Rick has the most upside when you think about it... He's an undrafted FA. If he Bombs, so what? Hunter and CP have to live up to top round hype... They could be flat busts. I think Hunter will turn out the best, but Da'Rick probably has the most upside since all he has to do is get on the field and he's accomplished a lot for where he is coming from...

Although I am not sure how EJ Emanuel (Dumbest pick in the first round IMO) will do so all the Buffalo Bills receivers may be in for a tough season if he busts.

EJ Manual couldn't move offensively at times with the talent at FSU; how is he ever going to move the offense with the talent at Buffalo?
