Who will go higher in the draft Troy Smith or Brady Quinn??

Alright first of all, the WAC consists of Boise St. Hawaii, Nevada, San Jose St, Fresno St, Idaho, New Mexico St, Louisiana Tech, and Utah St. out of these teams 4 finished over 500. Not really that good of competition. Brennan beat twos team this year so far and that was Boise St. and Alabama. I guess you can call those teams.
I mean don't get me wrong he's a decent quarterback but don't go writing him off as a superstar his offense provides mediocre quarterbacks the ability to excel like chang. I mean look at Danny Almonte, sure he can carve kids in the little league world series that are a few years younger than him.

if he comes out this year, he will be the first qb drafted. mark my words.

Not in a million years. He might even be better, although I don't think so. Regardless, no one is going to take that big of a chance with the top pick. If he busts, it would be an epic mistake. I'm sure most teams would rather take the guy that's already had training from a respected NFL coach.

Current NFL QBs from the MAC:
Charlie Frye
Charlie Batch
Big Ben
Bruce Gradkowski

Pro Football Hall of Fame QBs from the MAC:
...

Wasn't Marshall in the MAC when Chad Pennington came to the NFL? Maybe Byron Leftwich, too.

Marshall was a MAC member from '97-'05. So, Pennington and Leftwich would probably be on the list. I would hesitate to refer to either as "great".

Central Florida was also in the MAC from '02-'05. However, Culpepper (another person I would hesitate to associate with greatness) was drafted in '99.

The MAC has produced some GREAT QBs in the past 4-5 years. never said hall of fame type QBs, your also forgetting chad pennington, byron leftwich. Both of them played for marshall when they were in the MAC

For most people, QBs aren't considered "great" until they are in the Hall of Fame. That most likely includes breaking some records and winning some Super Bowls along the way.

So, Pennington and Leftwich are great? The bar sure gets lower and lower every time I turn my back...

AJ Feeley isn't starting. Anyway, I'd say Chad Pennington is probably the best of those MAC QB's. He's a Knoxville kid, too.

He had previously started at QB... did they say PRESENTLY starting at QB? No, I don't believe they did. If I remember correctly, it said a QB is great if they start in the NFL. AJ Feeley has started before. Any more corrections, "Imparter of Knowledge"?

Just one:

"they start in the NFL i believe thats GREAT."

Start is present tense.

I think Quinn will go higher but also think Smith is a better QB. Smith is a better leader and commands his team alot better IMO.

You think Quinn can't lead? Don't get me wrong, I dislike Notre Dame's media attention, but when Notre Dame has lost a game, I can't think of a time where it's been on the shortcomings of the offense.

21 points ought to be enough to win with a competent defense. Quinn may not have looked stellar, but he wasn't responsible for giving up forty-freakin'-seven points.
