So USC is losing Shaw and Clowney, yet they are going to be better? Don't think so. It will be either Mizzou, Georgia or UT.

Mizzou is losing Sam and Ealy off D line and QB Franklin and Josey one of the best backs in SEC. They are losing more off the 2 deep than any other SEC team. The only thing they have coming back is a good wide receiver and a QB that shared starting duties due to injury. I think their a 6-6 team.

UGA
USC
Missouri
UF/Tenn
Vandy
UK.

Swap UF/UT with Mizzou and I think you have it right. Mizzou loses alot of production that they do not have ready replacements for everywhere on D. They lose alot of production at WR and RB plus their best OL. While the new QB will have experience, the drop off between Franklin and Mauk was significant.

Schedule will help them a little though.

Losing 2 of their top 3 WR's iirc. DGB will have a tougher time without the other threats. Mauk's accuracy was poor to begin with and will be more challenged by less talent at WR. You are probably correct about their record.

I think we fiinish anywhere from 3rd to 5th according to our QB play. I just want us to go Bowling this year to show improvement and keep momentum going with recruiting. CBJ and staff need results to prove their selling points.

Tennessee
UGA
USCe
Mizzoo
UF
Vandy
UK

Tennessee probably finishes in UF's spot but the season hasn't started so I will go with this ranking.

Mizzou being a one hit wonder mindset is the same thinking that had so many overlooking them and thinking we should have beat them the last 2 yrs.

Mauk was better than our QB group, and has solid game experience. Give him a good off season where he is the starter then it is a better chance he'll do well especially in the situation that we, FL, and maybe USC is in. UGA will be a game day type opinion for me as Mason looks solid but still pretty green, and a new DC may have growing pains...I know I know that's just an excuse for them cause having issues in the first year of a whole new system is no biggie...oy vey.

Assuming DGB isn't in jail. Was that RB a sr? he was the best thing they had on offense.

Vols are the champions of the East in my heart and will remain there until they are officially eliminated in the 2014 season.

Which I don't think is going to happen.

So there.

I pick the Vols.

So sue me.

Saw this on tos
1. USC- returning 15
2. UGA- returning 16
3. Mizzou- returning10
4. Fla- returning 16
5. Vandy- returning 12
6. Kent.-returning 16
7. Tenn. returning 11

My prediction
1. USC
2. Mizzou
3. UGA
4. VOLS
5. FLA
6. Vandy
7. Kent.

What he said, UGA may still not be that good, we could swap with 'em, but USCjr & Mizzou will be decent one more year then the bottom falls out of Mizzou IMO.

Filling a void isn't the same as being great. UT SHOULD have beaten them last year.... With anything better than a moron as a DC, UT wins that game by 30 pts.

The east is still down The Gators and The Vols are at least 2 season away , maybe 3 .
Miss has been a bit on lady lucks side . with the east being down. 2014 they will see a difference and will not be 11-0 for their last game . More like 7-4
Steve has his team close ,.
1 SC
2 Ga
3 Vandy
4 Vols 3 and 4 can be a switch
5 Gators
The vols and gators are close but a few players away

Miss & Kentucky tied for the bottom
6

Mizzou was hit by the injury bug last year. They're not a one trick pony. They have their back up qb returning who had significant pt this year when Franklin went down. You win the east one year then bed with Ky the next? Meth much?

I'm tempted to pick Florida (nobody is expecting it and they should be much healthier this year), but I'll be a bit more conservative and go with South Carolina.

South Carolina
Georgia
Florida
Tennessee
Missouri
Vanderbilt
Kentucky

i think the Vols will end up in the 5th place, beating out Vanderbilt and Kentucky, and it could be barely,as for the top spot who knows,it is going to be another weak year for the East,I'm not sure about Mizzou,USC will be a threat under Spurrier,Fla has the talent, they need to get there heads out of there asses, and UGA al ways chokes some way or the other
