Even if Chip Kelly were to leave it would take him 2-4 years to get the type of athletes he needs to run his system.

I dont think that alot coaches will just up and leave a program that they have built to earn more money. Now, some do but alot of guys get comfortable where they are at. Like Saban and some others, they like the challenge of building a program back to where it once was. Stoops wont leave OU. He makes great money and gets alot of prized recruits out of TX. He does a great job and is constantly in the top 10. He will be there until he retires. His little brother will be a Head Coach somewhere before too long. Just building his resume.

Yea, I watched it. Bradford had over 300 yards passing at halftime and OU had 34 points, I believe. Texas was completely outclassed and outcoached.

Law - this is a serious question: How do you get "outclassed" in football? I understand outplayed and outcoached, but outclassed? Did Texas have alot of personal fouls?

By the way - Bradford's in the NFL, not at OU anymore

Yes, I meant to put Landry Jones. Simple typo. As far as the brilliant discussion of the word "outclassed", you've just admitted that you have no idea what the meaning of that word is.

Come on now... a simple typo is like recieving instead of receiving. An entire name change is a "brain fart" at best or maybe you are challenged in one or more ways. Either way, I'm glad for your insight and posts, as well as, the posters who are beating your arse red in this thread. You guys are too funny !!!!

Semantics. I knew Landry Jones was the qb, and I typed Bradford. If you think fade is beating anybody at anything, I feel sorry for you. Hopefully, you don't think that.

What about that. Look like an idiot and run away. Truly shocking.

Stoops (Oklahoma)maybe
Bielema (Wisconsin)uhh no
Fisher (FSU) what has he done? its easy to recruit in fla and play weak acc teams every week
Kiffin (USC) what has he done? he may have one of the best coaching staffs but still not getting it done.
Brown (Texas) losing it and its easy to recruit in texas.
etc
joe pa-(Penn State) umm above average but not coaching anymore. A good modivator
though.
Peterson(Boise State)- maybe
Beamer- (VA TECH)- no when was the last time he has won the big game?

Sum all it up. I'd put Peterson from Boise State is the best non sec coach in the country. Only getting 2-3 star recruits and coaching them up to be the best players in the country. They have proven they can bet anybody. I hope they do join the big east or pac-10. They deserve a shot at title. How many times has OSU gone and lost it? Way too many times.

Al Golden is a really good coach. I don't know if we will be able to see what all he can do at Miami, but the guy can flat out coach some football.

Why don't you think we'll be able to see all he can do? Miami doesn't even have to recruit outside a 45 minute driving radius to field a top 10 recruiting class. You talking about the possible penalties from the rogue booster fallout?

Golden is a terrific football coach. I'm just sad that we won't get to see what would have happened if he could have been able to go full steam into it all.

Small school greats:
Chris Petersen
Gary Patterson
Kyle Wittingham

Greg Schiano should've gotten out of Rutgers when he had the chance. I think he could've been something special had he gone to a bigger and better school.

Peterson at Boise i guess. I don't know if he'd leave either though.

Doesn't he have a physically disabled child? I think he really does enjoy Boise, they are providing his son with good medical help. And it also helps to be treated like a god up there.
