In today's game, I absolutely am. Anosike outplayed Bailey today, yet you're throwing him under the bus instead of the guy with the same amount of TOs as his points and assists combined. Yes, Anosike is nothing more than a role player, but you calling out his offense tonight instead of the 1 of 12 guy is awfully telling about your understanding.

That’s what makes springer so important to this team imo. He’s got the confidence to really make things happen on offense and the ability to back it up consistently.

No, no he didn’t. Bailey just missed shots. Some contested and most were jump shots. Anosike was NOT called out just for tonight OR just for his offense. His entire body of work at UT does not justify a scholarship OR the minutes he gets. Bailey, by contrast, is the opposite.

Man, I got four teams I regularly watch and cheer for. Vols football and basketball, 49ers football, and Grizzlies basketball. Just want to see one win a championship at some point that I can remember. Grizzlies I wouldn't count on but the others are capable of doing it eventually

And turned the ball over 5 times, and only had 1 assist. Bailey didn't "just miss shots". Tell the whole story. Anosike had the same number of FGs, more rebounds, same number of assists, more steals, and fewer TOs. You're blind if you can't see that Anosike outplayed Bailey tonight.

Again, this is NOT isolated to tonight’s performance only. Can you honestly tell me you think that Anosike deserves a D1 SEC full scholarship based on his performance this year on our team? I never said that Bailey had a great night. ALL of our star players have had poor performances this year. Anosike has never had a good performance. Not one.

Plenty big criticism to go around. The difference is Bailey has shown flashes. I love how folks on this board dogged Mac McClung for jacking up shots and being a defensive liability. Bailey anyone? I’d take McClung in a heartbeat.

You do realize Anosike only missed one shot, right? And only had 1 turnover, right? And had 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and a steal, right? In only 15 minutes. That's not terrible. Is it world beating? Absolutely not, but it's not as bad as you're making it out to be.

Yeah EJ hasn't had the year any of us were hoping for, but he played one of his better games tonight and was one of the 2 or 3 best players on the team (both low bars, I admit). It's weird the criticism is most fierce tonight
