Why exactly didn't Dooley work out?

Ever hear of dumb jocks? Dooley tried to be overly smart with hisbamboo, atm machines, orange dog and such. Only he spent all his time thinking that garbage instead of watching film, game planning and recruiting. One good thing came out of it for me. I always if had to poop called it "Dropping a deuce" but thanks to him its now "Dropping a Dooley"!

he was bad at coaching football, leading young men, managing leaders, people skills, recruiting, and talent evaluation. If not for those weaknesses I think he would have done well.

he was a Georgia mama's boy troll who didn't care any more about Tennessee than he does the dallas cowboys.

The fact almost all of his assistants that came to UT when he was hired left before he was fired should say something.

If he keeps Wilcox from jumping ship we would have won 9 games last year with that offense and he'd still be pacing the sidelines. Nobody wants to pay all these staff buy outs.

Was he a National Championship caliber coach? No.

That is the main reason a coach doesn't "work out" at Tennessee. We should be in the hunt perennially. If we aren't, heads have to roll.

If you believe the talk that was going around, if he just beats Missouri or Vanderbilt last year, he's still on the sidelines. Which is crazy scary.

Hart is awful, period. Our biggest issue is our administration have made one bad decision after the other, UT alum, and fans deserve better.

He seemed to be respected until he came to ut. Was it a bad match? Did he not have the support? Or did he just plain suck a@#?

(1) He did not know how to treat the players and they didn't give 100% effort in every game. (2) He had bad luck against LSU & UNC. "Had we won those two games, it would have bought him more time" (3) We lost the Kentucky game. (4) After Kentucky loss, several of his coaches left the program. (5) Sal Sunseri

Those are your top 5 reasons that Dooley was fired.

Frankly, we dodged a bullet with Kiffin who has proven he can't get it done as head coach. We dodged a bullet with Dooley getting him out as soon as possible.

Two imbecile hiring decisions. Four seasons that really damaged the program, but truth be told, it could be worse. This of course assumes Butch really does get it.
