Clausen was really good I thought, he did have a great team around him. Man, I'm puzzled by Fulmer's teams in the past. With some of the great teams he had, I always wonder why he didn't win more NCs........
Yeah, that article looks like it was written by a 6th grader. I seriously doubt Butch said that to any member of the press.
He's a football player turned radio host, not a journalist.
I don't understand the hate on Ainge. Like is there something he's done to the University that I'm unaware of? In any case, he bleeds orange now and says nothing but good things about UT football. Yet, he gets hated on for absolutely everything he does. It's like some people have a grudge against him.
To my point, Ainge is not the only player that receives this sort of treatment from VN. Why would anyone want to come here and have to deal with being teased and trashed after they graduate? Obviously, UT football players should have some thick skin, but jeez guys
Glad we aren't getting a Bray 2.0
We would have won 9 games last year if we had Bray.
What vol fan in the world would not trade a few dents on some girls car for those extra wins..
Hell I "Volunteer" my car.. I will park it in front of his house every night so he has the target practice he needs, in exchange for those extra 4 wins + Bowl...
People around here act like he robbed someone at a pilot instead of just having one night of a stupid drunk mistaken "accident" and a bit of an EGO.
You need an Ego to play like he played, and who among us does not have at least that one story from college?
But he should be different because he is a football player? The double standard is pretty lame IMHO.
And don't forget the DUI in the community many of our families live in. Sure, I just really appreciate people whol aren't content to risk their own lives but have to jeapordize others as well. Its because of that LSU game. ..
And honestly I think some people think less of him because of his struggle with addiction in the past which is unfortunate.

Oh, and the fact that his radio shoe is sophomoric crap. A couple of guys playing high school grab jazz.

The answer to that question is yes. Football players should be held to a higher standard. When I played, my coach used to tell us before every game, "Remember who you are and who you represent." Meaning, don't go out and make an azz out of yourself by doing something stupid.
Bray was the best qb to wear orange since Peyton manning. If he would've had any help from the defense in 2012 we would've won 10 games and you would be singing his praises.
