Rarely do I disagree with a quote like this in public....but our defense played an incredible 2nd half and Bulldogs scored all they could score on us. ANYBODY who thinks they "let off the gas" just did not see the game or certainly did not understand what happened in the game. Dogs clearly deserve to win. We missed on three balls that we've been connecting on all year. And had two (actually couple of more) silly breakdowns on the backside on defense and Ga took them to the house. Granted...the blitz package they employed worked but This simply was not a 1986 Sugar Bowl Vols/Canes epic beatdown. Vols will be fine!

8-1 Tennessee is still just as dangerous as 8-0 Tennessee and everybody knows it.

It is odd that people suddenly think we're paper tigers just because we lost one game against the best team in CFB. Vegas believed we'd loose by 2 scores and that's what we lost by. We were on the road and played our worst game of the season. Our offense played similar to the Pitt game the difference is UGA had the talent to make us pay for our mistakes. We are still the same team that beat a way more talented Bama team and we are the same team that blew out a way more talented LSU team in their house. We meat slapped a good CanTurkey squad and we figured out a way to break the Florida curse. The Gators played out of their minds and we were still up 3 scores in the 4th. Just win you thought Florida was gonna figure out yet another way to embarrass us we put them to sleep.

Compare Bama and LSUs talent to ours. They are loaded with 4 and 5 star players. They have more natural talent in nearly every position yet here we are. We are a dangerous team and when we play our A game we can beat anybody. I hope we get another shot at UGA on a neutral field.

Big lead is 24-6! It would be dumb to think the coaches didn't want to put the game out of reach more when Tennessee is known to score 21 points in a quarter . Troll!

I mean, if you look around here for 5 minutes, you'd see collectively we were rather loud while winning. If you're going to be loud about it, you better keep winning. I haven't noticed much national bashing, but we deserve it a bit.

No it's not plain and simple. What is, we had no punt returns when those have been game breakers we held them to 3 points the second half when they had a 18 point lead we had 6 procedure penalties that killed are drives. Georgia beat Tennessee because Tennessee didn't execute but it was no ass whooping . Oregon got a ass whooping. Kentucky got a ass whooping. Lsu got a ass whooping. So no stop you are making yourself look football dumb.

We connect on those to deep throws and the game is tied. But we didn’t and that was the difference. Only big adjustment I seen that we needed to make on offense was that our Qb needed drop back 9-10 yds. 5 yds was just creating to many problems . Our defense played stellar for being on the field as long as they were. 27-13 the gap is closing my friends . They couldn’t put 40 or 50 on us those days are OVER. GOVOLS!!!!! Let’s roast Mizzou

Which is exactly why I have not given TV or radio talking heads a second of my time for about the last decade and a half.

I highly recommend to anyone a total boycott of all non-game broadcasting, and I promise that not only will you be happier, but your sports knowledge will increase from doing your own thinking instead of these tools telling you what to think.

The short drop appears to be part of the Heupel system, but having a hot read when you know pressure is coming is a way to beat the blitz without taking a deeper drop.

No they couldn't. They went to the slow down as much because of fearing turnovers with the weather as anything else, and it's entirely possible that had they opened up their offense it might have created some turnovers that changed the game. They didn't need to given how they shut us down for the most part, but going to the four corners as they did also kept us off the field.

Oh, why didn't you say that before? Since the "national media", who we know are always on the money and super consistent with their "analyses", say it's so, then I suppose it must be so.

I trust the viewpoint of any fan that pays attention as much or more than any national media "expert", most of whom are glorified fans that get paid because they can create clicks or views.
