Oh, I thought US casualities had hit a low in May that they haven't seen in like 4 years. If you just take the philiosophy to retreat home and defend your borders, you leave the terrorists with free reign to indoctrinate the masses as they wish.
what is worse, fighting terrorist abroad or allowing them to blow up buildings in our country. look what happened to our stock market and our economy on 9/11. talking about strain. we are winning the war over there, you're going to hear it from our media but we are.
i do have one question, we've been in Germany and Japan since WW2, Korea since the mid 50's. why isn't anyone demanding that we leave those countries? i mean we are in those countries for the same reason we're in iraq.
So you believe the terrorists that we really need to worry about in the long term are anchored down in Iraq?
Also when are we going to learn that fighing against terrorists who starp bombs to anyone isn't exactly the same as say, liberating Kuwait?
I see, so the kind that walk into markets in Iraq and blow themselves up are the lesser kind of terrorist. A harmless breed so to say. And if we weren't in Iraq, these guys we be sitting in their huts happily watching a game of camel polo. No, they'd be whereever we sent our troops. There is a war, whether you want to be a part of it or not is irrelevant. The enemy has forced us to be a part of it.
There was not one Iraqi on the planes 9/11/01. It looks more like we forced Iraq to be part of it.
It is a war with people that have a fundamental idea of bringing down the USA. They occupy a region, not just a country. We had to set up camp somewhere, I don't really care where that somewhere happened to be. Saddam played his hand and invited us to land at his place.
Now now, that's not the pc answer, you will get blasted.
Blast away...until they stop killing people in the name of Allah there is no way around it. Well, I take that back. Unless the rest of the world helps isolate their threats there is no way around it.
Either they have to cut it out, or they have to be exterminated.
