Are they all in Iraq... no, they're everywhere. But I bet if you ask a sioldier just returning from there, they'd say there's a few too many there, with all the IED's and whatnot.

We have military bases there but I don't believe the Japanese and Germans are still trying to kill our soldiers. If Iraq were peaceful then you wouldn't hear anything about Iraq either.

I see, so the kind that walk into markets in Iraq and blow themselves up are the lesser kind of terrorist. A harmless breed so to say. And if we weren't in Iraq, these guys we be sitting in their huts happily watching a game of camel polo. No, they'd be whereever we sent our troops. There is a war, whether you want to be a part of it or not is irrelevant. The enemy has forced us to be a part of it.

i agree, but the 1st few years after the end of ww2. there was a lot of terrorist like attacks against our troops, especially in germany but we stayed there and eventually everthing calmed down. of course we messed up by allowing Russia to rebuild part of it.

When we learn that one of two things will have to happen:
1. The places that breed the terrorist activities (Saudi, Iran, Syria) will have to stop doing so or...
2. We will have to turn them into a parking lot too.

There was not one Iraqi on the planes 9/11/01. It looks more like we forced Iraq to be part of it.

It is a war with people that have a fundamental idea of bringing down the USA. They occupy a region, not just a country. We had to set up camp somewhere, I don't really care where that somewhere happened to be. Saddam played his hand and invited us to land at his place.

How many resolutions were passed? I've said it before, but it bears repeating: Bush said he would be preemptive after 9/11, and that's exactly what he did. He viewed them as a threat and acted accordingly.

It's ironic that through our actions to eliminate people with that ideology, we are actually increasing the global despise of the USA.

it would be more like conservative republicans believe people are the answer. there are a lot of republicans in office that are no different that democrats..

ut ie. we're not increasing it anymore. countries have been jealous of us for years but instead of making their countries better, they want to lower us. it's just like the modern liberal democrat, don't raise lower people's standard, but bring down the "upper" people.

Blast away...until they stop killing people in the name of Allah there is no way around it. Well, I take that back. Unless the rest of the world helps isolate their threats there is no way around it.

Either they have to cut it out, or they have to be exterminated.
