Why the dive in Obama's approval rating?

Bush had the lowest approval ratings in history and for the longest duration.

How long have they been keeping these polls again? I know it serves your interest to post words like "lowest in history" but at least provide some context. If you would have stated he had the lowest approval rating since polls have been taken I would have no problem what so ever with this statement.

Since Truman, over 60 years......

Bush has lower approval ratings then Nixon before he resigned, then Truman at the height of fatalities during the Korean War, and lower then Lyndon Johnson during the Vietnam War.

That makes the statement valid. Then again I wonder how Americans today would feel about some of our past presidents if they lived during those times and other the conditions of the day. It cannot be denied that the average American today is not nearly as self reliant, nor does he or she possess the intestinal fortitude of generations past.

ok, but he also had some of the highest ever. Once the sting of 9-11 wore off the media began to go do their spin and take manipuate the masses

As I stated in my previous post this in no way validates your past statements about Bush being the worst president in history. He would be among the bottom 5 I believe for sure, but not the worst.

I agree to a certain extent. Today the business world is highly competitive. The Chinese are waiting in the wings. In 10 years, the U.S. will no longer be the #1 economy. It will pass to Asia, if it has not already.

only if the left is unsuccessful in getting unions to organize in Asia. Believe me, I'm sure labor unions see vast opportunities in there.
