wikileaks and CIA

I think the big story out of this is that they add fingerprints to make it look like Russia or another government is responsible.

Cleaver analysis. KimDotcom couldn't have said it better.

The CIA hacked the DNC and gave to wikileaks to help Trump win the election. The same CIA that is making the baseless claims that Russia interfered with the election and the same CIA that is now trying to undermine Trump.

Never go full retard.

The CIA is a not a person. It is a group of persons and factions.

You sound like Chucky Schumer, so I'll have to ask. What exactly are you insinuating? Certainly you couldn't be suggesting that the CIA would bring harm to a person or entity that challenges them, or are you?

That's exactly what I'm insinuating. If these leaks are a matter of national security then they need to be handled

All of this came out after the election. If you want to delegitimize the current president, then delegitimize the election by suggesting government influence.

I'm not arguing that's right or wrong, but the CIA has little credibility, and now their claims of who hacked who has little as well.

Do you have a problem with wikileaks obtaining and then publishing documents revealing the process by which we legally surveil foreign governments or adversaries?

I have a problem with the CIA being so ****ing incompetent that Wiki is able to obtain these documents.

I also have a severe mistrust of our intelligence services and wouldn't doubt for a minute that they have used their capabilities within CONUS, against US citizens and without a FISA warrant.

CNN reporting CIA and FBI are launching a criminal probe and evidently they think this particular leak may be by a contractor, I suppose as opposed to a computer hacking.

Wikileaks said that this was floating around among a circle of former govt employees and contractors and that one of them forwarded it on to them.

If the source is a contractor that doesn't excuse the CIA. They hired them!

As a GC I'm 100% responsible for anything my subs do on the project.

Probably true but I'd take anything wikileaks says about source material with a grain of salt..

I won't disagree that they evidently have some problems, but you as a GC with maybe a half dozen subs does not equal an agency with thousands of them.

Number of subs is no excuse. Something you need to understand, when you are the boss it's your fault.

Evidently some problems? Ha, that's an understatement.

They can't allow some contractor to waltz out of Langley with a thumb drive containing the Govt's entire hacking arsenal. They have to ensure that's impossible. They can't just throw their hands up and say well, we have a bunch of them it's hard to keep track.
