Will arizona state jump the Vols in rankings?

A #15 2-loss Arizona State is not going to jump past the #10 spot for beating a #16 2-loss Iowa State team.

The #4 seed will go to Boise State here.
You obviously don’t follow the rankings or understand the format. Arizona State won the Big 12. Clemson won the ACC. Arizona State is ranked ahead of Clemson and will get the 4th bye as the 4th highest rated conference champ. Clemson is not going to jump them, and will consequently play a first round game on the road as an 11 or 12 seed.

Boise will be the #3 seed.

You are probably correct.
He is correct, the 3 and 4 seeds go to the teams ranked the highest. Clemson was behind them to begin with and Arizona St and Boise State both played better and have 1 less loss to boot. No way in Haiti is getting a 3 or 4 seed.

theyre looking really good.
No
theyre looking really good.
This 12 team playoff is a joke. It is designed to make more money. It will likely expand to 16 teams. Be honest do you really believe that their are 12 teams that are good enough to be National Champs? Do you think, Bosie St., Arizona St., Clemson. Indiana, Penn St. are capable of winning a minimum of 3 games to be champion.
Georgia, Texas, and Ohio St. are probably the best 3 teams
Oregon--after watching their defense last night, which Urban Meyer called 'the fastest defense in the country'. well they need to be fast as they chase people into the endzone. Their defense is not good enough
Notre Dame-who knows, they are playing well against a mediocre schedule, so I doubt it
Tennessee and Alabama--both of these teams are capable. Tennessee's defense will keep them in games, If Nico continues his improvement, Tennessee is a legitimate dark horse. Unfortunately the committee is going to give them the most difficult path to the championship game. Alabama definitely has the talent, but Deboer is not Saban.

So the SEC has 4 teams that are capable of winning the National Championship. The Big10 has one team (Ohio St.). And there are two teams that are 'maybe but doubtful' (Oregon and Notre Dame).

It will take a 1000 years before Bosie St. wins a national Championship. I will say that the group of 5 may NEVER win a national championship, they may not even ever make it to the championship game.

Don't know about that, but I'm wondering what kind of work OSU put in this week to pass us in the rankings...looks like the deal with the committee is that AP would drop us so the committee doesn't look so stupid giving OSU the nod for hosting, and in return the committee will accept that AP dropped SMU below Bama and will keep Bama in the playoff. That is my hunch.
