Will Muschamp to UF

I have to believe that Mullen was interviewed, and offered the job at some point.

Either way, if you're a Mississippi State fan, you have to be extremely happy right now. You've got a really good coach who seems committed to building Mississippi State.

You can't tell me you / everyone wasn't thinking the same last year when we hired Derek Dooley from La Tech that went 4-8 the previous year. 4-8 at La Tech is worse than 5-7 in the Big 12
4 and 8 at La Tech is not worse that 5 and 7 in the big 12 when you are Texas.

Interview and feelers are two different things. I'm sure he spoke to Stoops, Petersen and Harbaugh camps about the job. No way Will was #1 on the list.

I can not believe that they hired a coach without head coaching experience. The recipe for disaster is that Meyer will still be involved with the program with an inexperienced head coach in place. I also see this as Zook, ver.2

Again, sorry Bumi. Trey Burton was my source. Talked to Pat Muschamp tonight and he was suprised as anyone. Evidently, UF contacted Will 20 minutes after UM resigned. I'm from Rome, GA, WM's home town, and no one saw this coming. I think this a terrible hire for UF considering the coaches available.

The offense was the biggest problem at Texas this year. The defense had a couple bad games. Last year I think they lead the country in turnovers.

Florida interviewed more than Muschamp, you can bet on that. They just wont admit and neither will the media suckups that Florida got turned down.

If WM was the only one interviewed it was because the rest of em said no thanks I dont even want the interview. UF will never admit this tho.

We'll see I think Muschamp will be a good HC I'n not saying he will win multiple championships, but he will win games.
