Will the Religious Right Rally Behind Biden?

The only beliefs that should be taken into account when laws are written are the beliefs in the BORs and individual liberty.
One, which religion (or religions) are contradictory to those things?

Two, what about non-religious beliefs that are contradictory to those things?

He is, after all, God's choice. That is what they told me last time. They supported Trump because he was God's choice. He was not a perfect man, but he was God's choice to lead America...

Leave Dolly out of this. Her ways are mysterious to us and not for us to understand.

I didn't say there were any and I didn't say there were although I'm certain there are to both.

Please explain how there isn't.
My point is people assume that religious affiliation is at conflict with the constitution.
And they single out religious positions and seem to ignore other philosophies hat do contradict.

Religious affiliation is not in conflict with the constitution, passing laws based solely on religious doctrine is.

He actually goes to church instead of golfing on Sundays too.

He is much more pious than Trump and an actual man of faith.

We know conservatives don't care though. They just want to scare some dummies into voting for them.

Rather than posting something so general as to be worthless, copy/paste the quote you're challenging and then we can discuss. I have no idea where this is coming from.

The religious right cares a lot more about a candidate's abortion stance than "God's Choice", whatever that means.
Might care about abortion but the religious right evidently doesn’t mind a candidate raw dogging a porn star when his third wife is pregnant. My Bible says that is adultery. Or like grabbing random women by the crotch. Their righteousness must be a little more flexible on stuff like that. There’s the hypocrisy of the “religious” right. Can’t spew “Thou shalt not kill” and ignore the ones about adultery, bearing false witness (aka lying), etc. Both of which are Trump staples.

Hypocrisy is not a new concept and it abounds everywhere on all sides.

Agree with that. I just have a major problem with overly pious people supporting someone who is so obviously opposite of their beliefs and then trying to justify it. Sorry but that dog won’t hunt.

It's your thing. There are other "you know, the thing" that bothers people.

You can get stirred up about it, there's plenty there for you, but what difference, at this point, does it make?

I can tell all you yahoos with 100% certainty that God has NOT chosen Vols football in the past 12 years! So, if he’s not choosing the Vols, he’s surely not picking any of these loser politicians.

Idiot post, the positions that harris has concerning murder and sodomy is a direct attack on the Bible. Queen, you don't know what you're talking about.

You obviously have no idea about Christians or their politics. Ignorant to call people hypocrites when you don't know.

The position Trump has on marriage is a direct attack on the Bible and is actually mentioned several times.

The Bible says to stone pregnant women who cheat. It says you can't divorce and remarry for no reason.

Trump has done more the Bible explicitly says is wrong.

You are the example I was talking about when I said they use the Bible to get idiots to vote for them. You focus on things the Bible doesn't or rarely speaks on while ignoring issues written about in the Bible multiple times.

Go read the Bible if you can.

And murder? Pretty sure she locked up the murderers.

And sodomy? The Bible speaks about adultery and divorce much more as sin.

It doesn’t other than I like to point out hypocrisy when I see it. Especially among the overly pious. The vast majority of the “religious” right likes to talk it but don’t walk it.

You going to wear out that old pointing finger. Just remember when you point at someone, three other fingers are pointing right back atcha.

Don’t bother lecturing me. Lived in the South all my life and heavily churched so I’m quite familiar with the overly pious. Again, many of them love to talk it but don’t walk it. The choice to support Trump tells me many don’t walk it with their politics either. Put it this way. They have a selective view of the Ten Commandments.

Not saying anything about myself. Nobody’s perfect and neither am I. But there are plenty who want to tell you they are. And then they will try to justify support for a miserable human being like Trump. That is the definition of a hypocrite.
