Wiseman ineligible

Wiseman suspension upheld. He won't play against us, but the main point from that decision is the NCAA held their ground and didn't allow themselves to be deterred by the Memphis shenanigans. Most of their fans and posters here probably won't believe what is coming next.

I do wish they had taken off a couple of game mostly because I wanted to see Wiseman play against Georgia and @WSU but all-in-all I'm just glad we'll get him for half the season plus the AAC/NCAA tourney.

Happy Thanksgiving, Vols!

didn't pay for anything.
Wiseman came to Memphis to pay for Penny, and the NCAA wasn't going to take it lying down that Wiseman did not go to a blueblood school.
Same thing happened the LAST time Memphis got the #1 recruit int he country to play for them.
They decided he was eligible...not once, not twice...but THREE times. (Derrick Rose)

Apologist!!

We had a ruling apply to us that was never used before...and has never been used since in the NCAA ruling.
We "should have known that Derrick Rose was ineligible."

Uh after the NCAA ruled he was eligible 3 times?

And if Penny an Memphis State hadn’t thumbed their noses at the NCAA, he would have already been playing. Dumb, dumb decision to play him.

Yup, They were selfish and weren’t actually thinking about what was best for James and this is what they get for it. I’m glad James saw the light
