i guess we will see what happens...Tennessee is better now, we beat ourselves, historically we are better because we have never had to actually cheat to have success (i.e. paying players, fixing tests for players so dumb they couldnt read, etc.)

As for football, Tennessee would destroy the weak Tiggers, your biggest win is a 5 point win over Ole Miss...please....

You had to have a miracle to beat the likes of Tulsa and Cincy...

if he knew what he was talking about they wouldve done it....but they didnt because NO ONE in Memphis knows anything about the law outside of corruption

Who in there right mind saw this ending well? Go ahead. I'll wait for raised hands. SMH....you could see this coming all the way from Nashville. This whole thing looked horrible from the outset and any defending it makes one look small.

As for conference realignment...it'll happen again sometime soon.
Memphis is well-primed to land somewhere.

Someone did. Our last 2 coaches were hired by 2 ACC schools.

The worst of UT is exponentially better than the best of Memphis.

Learn to accept the truth, at their best, in any sport, Memphis is irrelevant. Maybe the Metro will reform and you will receive the first invite. LOL.

Don't want to get in a back and forth with another fan (coming and trying to debate a obviously stupid move by Memphis takes, well, IDK what) but I would GLADLY have swapped Memphis on our football schedule this year for at least 7 teams we played. Had the Plumlee kid played for Ole Miss he would have hung close to the same as Missouri did on Memphis last year (like 65-70 pts). Not to be unkind but EVERYBODY knows we are comparing apples and ORANGES.

Memphis had 4 turnovers in that game. It still took a controversial call by a referee for Temple to pull that game off as it did.
As opposed to getting embarrassed by Georgia State?
