The word is could, if Memphis State wants the known consequences. No way should they have played him. Argue till the cows come home if you like, but you know that’s true.Memphis did not file the injunction...Wiseman did.
That kept the NCAA from ruling him ineligible..and since he was not ineligible...he could play.
But Memphis didn’t have to play him, and still chose to. That’s on them. Strong-arming the NCAA rarely works.
So they chose to play him and got 12 games. That’s a real dream team if you like nightmares. If that had gone to trial...Wiseman would have won.
He had a lawyer dream team Farese, Ballin (rhymes with Allen), and Fishman.
Ultimately he was talked down. The popular opinion was that he'd get 4-6 games at most suspension.
you post like a 13 year old girl....but in the end, you're a midmajor fan for a trash midmajor school that has never won a title in anything, and has a small commuter transplant fanbase that doesnt even live inside the ghetto the campus is in.because you've been right about everything else...ROFLMAO....rigggggggggghhht.
On what basis does Wiseman have a case to take to court for Memphis not playing him? Is Zach Kent preparing a case as we speak for Tennessee not playing him? Playing time is not a civil affair in a courtroom. If he doesn’t play, then doesn’t play. Coach’s decision. Call it what you want. Memphis could have protected themselves, but instead hid behind some flimsy piece of judicial write-up, and got smacked for it.If that had gone to trial...Wiseman would have won.
