Rae is one of those players who did not peak in either high school or college, but is really just now starting to play like a professional, full-grown woman. And she may still get three or four more years of steady growth if she stays healthy and can keep a roster spot. She's getting better, so she may actually beat the odds and stick around. I hope so. I've always enjoyed the bursts of energy she brings.
Editing to say that I didn't mean to say that she hasn't played like a professional before. I guess what I mean is that even though she was good enough to be drafted and haveca roster spot now, until recently I felt like she could be waived at any moment. Not anymore, though, 'cause she's showing more maturity on the court than ever.
