Worley Haters and Hood Ahead of Mo Couch Complainers

My dad can beat up your dad!

How about we wait until we play a real team before we go all crazy about what our team can and can't do. We honestly don't even know yet. Hood is tied for the team lead in INTs and Worley was 11-13 against AP. Cool, we'll know alot more about team 117 after the WKU game and we'll definitely know whats up after the Oregon game. Lets save the bickering for then please.

Uh...yes it has everything to do with me not feeling "electricity" because our passing game was not very electric.
No. It has NOTHING to do with the way the passing game makes you "feel".
Butch agrees!
No. He didn't express any sentiment approaching being "bored" or that it didn't make him "feel" electric. Just the opposite. He talked objectively about needing a better performance of objectively measurable plays. At no point did he talk like a 16 year old girl disappointed with the prom.

The game that was called was simply pretty boring offensively.
Boring... means NOTHING to performance. You can be very productive and boring. You can be very "electric" and unproductive.

I mean they SHOULD be able to run wild on that defense. It was like playing a high school team....which is why I was hoping they'd use that game to grow in the passing game. You obviously don't comprehend my initial concerns in this whole thread.
Sure I do. It didn't make you "feel" good.

They worked on skills and limited what they showed future opponents. Jones all but said they went into the game with the intent of getting game film to look at and use for development.

If they have to be pass happy to please you... prepare to be bored for as long as Jones is around because that doesn't seem to be where he wants to go.

Everybody STFU! God D there are so many analyst and armchair coaches on here. It's stupid. Every time I check into VN, there is another moronic thread of if's, but's, or's , and concern's that it is just plain ridiculous. Most of the posters on here must have an IQ of 10 or below. DAAAMMNNNNN!

Finally an intelligent post!:)

True. Our whole peepee contest started when the "coach" said the O bored him and wasn't "electric". Apparently it eludes him that the coaches could have had something in mind with the way they called that game other than entertaining him or making him feel tingly all over.

I'm not worried about Worley's passing. I'm worried how he is gonna run against the big boys because he is not a good runner, and Butch obviously wants his qb running.

can be so effective. Worley has acres of space to run sometimes--but he preferred to hand the ball off. When he did run, he got good yardage at least a couple of time but a good running QB would have gotten even more. We won't be able to run like that against SEC teams, which means that Worley will have to find receivers to keep the defense honest.

Dude...just LET IT GO! You're obviously one of those personalities that thinks he's gotta have the last word! You're going in circles!

Because you keep evading and trying to shift away from what you actually said. I guess that's enough of an admission though...

My fellow coaches and I are sitting here at lunch laughing our a$$e$ off at your posts and "logic! It's been fun..but we gotta go!

Well I tell u what big guy....if you think we can beat Georgia,FL,SC,Bama, etc. with what you saw Saturday, then well...you're just clueless. The whole point of my posts is to point out that we've got to have an effective passing game to compete with the big boys. You seem to think we've "arrived" because we have a good O-line and "average" backs. I'm fine with running it 95 percent of the time if we had Bama's line and TB's...but guess what?? We don't! Teams will simply put 9 in the box and say bring it! Many uSEC teams can take that away from us....or do you not understand how D coordinators work? Just wondering!

Bama's line didn't look that great. We have a top 5 offensive line. Just sayin'.
