Would the door open for Wilcox's return to the Hill?

I can't believe people are mad at Wilcox. He did a great job while here. It's not his fault that Dooley is an idiot and a jerk.

Neither Wilcox or the Chief are returning to UT. Chief has a much better situation at LSU, and he knows it.

Sorry, that should have been //neither Wilcox NOR the chief..." I do not like be ungrammatical! I'm happy to say that it has been several weeks since I've seen a post with the word "ridiculous" spelled "rediculous."

LOL!!! WTF is that all about?:eek:lol:

I guess he must have taken some Xstacy or Molly pregame. Either that or he's WAYYYYY too close to the guy on the other side of that headset. :post-4-1090547912:

I'd welcome Wilcox. However, as others have said, I doubt Wilcox leaves the west coast. He would gladly take that USC job with Sark any day of the week.

I would argue that he CAN be trusted.
He didn't bail on Tennessee, he bailed on Dooley. Seems like he saw what was coming way in advance.
Wilcox wanted to be on the west coast but a large part of the staff could see Dooley was a dumpster fire and jumped ship as soon as they could as well. I've never seen a head coach alienate so many staff and former players. Dooley actually made Kiffin look like a good hire.

We can do way better than the Frito Bandito. Ol' Third and Chavis can't coach a lick unless somebody gives him 5 star talent across the board.

That's funny. His defense was ranked 4th in the country his last year here if I recall correctly and we weren't littered with any 5 stars

While I agree with this to a certain degree, you have to give "the Chief" some credit. Look at Georgia the last two (2) seasons if you want to see a team loaded with defensive talent that grossly underachieves on that side of the ball.

And in the year prior he gave up 400+/game.

In fact, this defense is only 14y/game and 1.3points/game behind Chavis' 2007 D. And our schedule this year was horrific compared to 2007.

But, you know, stats and such.
