:no: He got beat up by Kiffin, Dooley, and just about everyone we played this year that's any good. That's on 3 different teams and is more than enough evidence he sucks.

Don't think he wants to leave the West Coast and I think someone is liable to offer him a HC position in the next year. We'd be back in the same boat as we were when he was here if that happened.

LOL.a short few years ago, the fan base actually wanted to throw a kitchen sink at him and run him out of town. My how times and attitudes change, No more 3rd and Chavis?

It was widely known his last few years here he did not want to travel and recruit and with our recruiting base being nation wide he just does not fit here any more.

I loved him when he was here but he seems content at LSU where he has a backyard full of 5* to chose from.

1. Jancek was only co-DC there for one season. Martinez is the guy you're thinking of and while he's not great calling plays, he is an excellent DBs coach, which is what he does here.
2. This just isn't logical. You mean to tell me that two different DCs running two different defensive systems have both been terrible there with roughly the same talent? No way. There's only one guy behind their continued mediocrity. He's a nice fellow, but the Georgia folk are onto something when they complain about "he'll never win a championship".

Wilcox will never, ever, be invited back to the UT football program and there are good reasons.

WHY? Has our program not suffered enough turnover for you people. If you thought we were a better team than 7-6 or 6-6 at the beginning of the year you were delusional and with the injuries we missed a bowl. I wanted a bowl game as well. I am disappointed, but not surprised how we finished. None of these coaches deserve to be let go...
