Absolutely not. Mettenburger is obviously an idiot. That last thing he needs is to be rewarded for his idiocy by being offered by a top tier program. He needs to go pay his dues and take some humbling at some god forsaken junior college in nowhere land. Then depending on how he responds and matures can start looking at an option that fits his talent level.

I live in Atlanta and the UGA guys I know say it was more than just grabby a little T&A and that he's very lucky not to be sitting in jail.

This is the way I understood it too. Apparently he was the leader coming out of spring and probably would have entered fall as the #1 QB.

Louisville has dropped their interest and told him not to come up on a scheduled trip. I think he is now looking at Troy.

Ten million dollar arm, ten cent brain. The guys I know mentioned he got drunk, then became stupid. Was booted by the bouncers, cops show up, tell him to give up the fake id's and for one of his buddies to drive him home. Starts running his mouth at the cops and the lady came out and told the cops what he did.
