Wow. Does the media ever hate Palin

At least you aren't, you know, just making up outlandish stuff.

Doubt you'll see this as I am sure you are outside tilling the crisis garden, it being June and all. Maybe you will see it after you get home from the tin foil store.

The funny thing is that he calls Palin a "strong constitutional leader".

Sarah Palin Calls on TSA to 'Profile' Airline Passengers - Nightline's Daily Line

Or look at her ontheissues profile:
Sarah Palin on the Issues

The big one there is that she doesn't think the Patriot Act tramples on peoples' civil liberties.

When the left starts respecting gun, religion, education, speech, etc rights then give me a call.

That addresses absolutely nothing I pointed out.

Claiming Palin is a constitutional leader is a gross inaccuracy. Whether or not democrats respect the constitution is not at issue here.

You can tell who the partisans are when you state facts. Their counter arguments are inevitably: "the left/the right is so much worse".

Good point. I'll have to write that down.

Nice try, but all of those things you listed are ambiguous. You want gun rights? Then keep the guns out of criminal hands. You want freedom of religion? Me, too, so stop using religion as a basis to govern people who don't believe the same thing you do. I'm not even sure what you mean by respecting education when the Republicans are the ones cutting funding for education. Freedom of speech doesn't include freedom from ridicule for the things you say.

just waiting for her critics to find something new to use against her. Too bad the released emails didn't contain any smoking guns.

You defend her as ardently as gs... why?

Better yet, without mentioning the current POTUS.

I defend her because I get tired of hearing the same, retreaded criticisms that the left in general tosses at all conservatives. When her critics can come up with something new, I'll listen.

I was an early supporter of Palin. She seemed to be doing a really good job as governor of Alaska. I was stoked that McCain picked her for his VP and her speech at the R convention was great. Then she started doing interviews with hostile media which highlighted her glaring weakness, foreign policy. After the 2008 election, she quit as governor, citing a rash of ethics lawsuits. That made me question her real toughness under pressure.

Oh, and I will mention Obama for this one reason. During the 2008 campaign, the media and the left continually compared her to Obama despite the fact that she was the VP nod. It was obvious then that there was something about her that they feared. You don't fear stupid people, and you don't make things up about them to make yourself appear smarter. Which brings me back to my original point, when you can come up with a new, legitimate, criticism of her, I'll listen.

You shouldn't fear idiots when they find themselves in a position of power?

Shouldn't you at least fear what they can do?

sure, Biden scares the bejeezus out of me. That man is a brain damaged (he's had two aneurysms) alcoholic who is one heartbeat away from the Presidency.

DUDE! You're doing it again.

We've all been awake for the past 3 years. We know everything sucks! Why would Palin be ANY better?

doing what again? You asked a question about idiots having power, and I answered.

how many times do I have to say that I don't think Palin is stupid? How many times do I have to say that I don't want her to run for President?

FYP

BTW, if there is any glaring weakness on foreign policy
it would be that of Barack Obama and hitlery Clinton.

The only thing I "fear" about her is that her corny taglines and silly pandering might actually appeal to enough conservatives to get her elected. I think she is rather "aw-shucks" and has a very simple-minded quality about her. She looks to be an able-minded politician, but she drives me nuts with her dismissal of the gray between black and white and her silly sayings. The "golly-gee" routine worked for Bush, and I worry it might work for her. So, I have no problem with attacks on her as long as they help ensure she isn't elected.

Soooo, do you want four more years of Obamanation
or do you have another candidate you're backing?

Probably won't be Obama. Nominating Palin would probably solidify my vote for him, though. Not in approval of him, but just to do my part to make sure I don't have to deal with her.

Defending Palin's intellect by simply attacking others (Obama, Biden). Most of us already know their admin is failing.

And....there's a post about defending Palin without bringing up Obama. What does gs respond with? A collage of anti-obama propaganda. Success!
