They for some reason think he (anybody for that matter) should go to final fours and title games every year. Despite the fact that he's been OVIOUSLY SUCCESSFULL. And gotten us division crowns and solid records and best talent in years and sweet sixteen twice, and ignited a dead program.they think is a snake too

For those of us who don't follow Pearl as closely, can you elaborate on the self-serving snake part? Are there specific incidents that you are referring too? I'd appreciate it if you could bring me up to speed, bc his transgressions, whatever they may be, are not well advertised in the northeast. Thanks.

I also can't find where coaches salaries are listed. If you have a link, I would appreciate it. Im now curious as to what coaches make (specifically my boy boeheim). Thanks.

I think the Vol fans got spoiled when the men's basketball team won 30 games and even beat #1 Memphis ,at the time and was runnerup to Kansas for the NCAA title. Don't expect miracles every season. Here are 4 excellent basketball programs: (1) Duke, (2) North Carolina (3) Kentucky -however not lately, but was top years ago and may be on their way back, (4) Kansas. Do the fans of these universities expect 27 plus wins every season. Not quite but hope their teams win their respective conferences and get a decent NCAA tournament pairing. Vols were a little off last year and still managed to make the NCAA tourney. Hey some teams never make it! I think the goal for the UT men's team would bhe in this order (1) win the SEC East, (2) win the SEC tournament (3) get a decent pairing in the NCAA tourney and try to make it as far as possible. Now, the latter is up to how much the players want it.

If you read through this whole thread you will get chuckles about Lofton4Three attempting to assert intellectual superiority over anyone. I am still going to try to collect $500 from him if UF gets in the Final Four, and I will stop posting here.

Why does it matter how much the coach makes? Did ticket prices go up when he got his contract extension? It seems as though most coaches salaries are really dependant on when their contract is signed. Boeheim makes just about 1.3 million while Sean Miller makes 2 million. I'm sure that when Boeheims contract comes up, he will be compensated accordingly. I can understand not liking Pearl for being a bad guy or whatever, but I just don't see how his salary has an effect on the fans. I'd like to hear more though so that I can understand this point of view better. I'd also like to know what makes him a snake as well. Thanks.

I'm still trying to get him to man up and and take the bet to back up his assertion that Florida wil get in the Final Four.

He took a typo I wrote and used it as a cop out rather than taking the bet like a man.

Anybody that can say that UF is a potential final four team with a straight face has serious mental deficiencies.

Credibility? You and your group of 5 adolescents do not make a consensus. You also have not proven you know anything about basketball.

Let's revisit in March how right you are about the total lack of strength of the SEC...

You do not understand how to communicate in your mother tongue! You cannot write a bet without crying because you said heads I win, tails I win and I accepted.

A typo is putting "Florda" without an i, not continuing to try to edit your posts because you type entire sentences that mean the opposite of what you were trying to convey.
