'19 WV OL Darnell Wright (Tennessee signee)

I would rather him keep trying at RT and have Jahmir Johnson and Morris swap out at RT.
LT: Jahmir Johnson/ Morris
LG: Carvin/Locklear
C: Kennedy/ Johnson
RG: Hall/Wright
RT: Richmond/ Tatum
Let Wright get comfortable by starting him out at RG
Not a chance that Wright nor Morris doesn’t start. Trey is the only person talented enough to keep them on the bench

Might want to do a little research. Rumor is he is not close to an SEC starter, needs a lot of work in the weight room.
I wouldn’t say “needs a lot”, but any freshman coming in shouldn’t be expected to start right away like that. We’ve got enough guys to work them in slowly-ish. Richmond, albeit not the greatest, will be a good mentor for these guys. Jahmir Johnson will be healthy and at a proper weight, i could see him getting the LT spot since that’s what they recruited him for. Carvin will lose some bad weight and gain some good. Kennedy should be ready to roll after almost an entire year to get rehabbed and ready. Lots of positives on the O line IMO

We thought the same about JJ but he came in out of shape and hardly seen the field last year. Hopefully wright and Morris come in better prepared but we need to face the possibility they may not start the first game.

Did everyone see the Admiral Schofield picture bfrom the game Saturday? You know the one where they did a side by side picture of when he was a freshman compared to now. Shocking! It takes time to do that. I have no doubt these players were lifting in high school, but they were likely still growing and not working at the same level that our S&C will push them.

is that a question or statement?

big, big difference between HS S&C programs and College, on average. Granted there's HS programs that are insane, Catholic comes to mind.

No quantifiable data to prove my statement as fact. I will say i've had extended family who work in Sports Nutrition, degreed in that area. They say that even before a kid gets to the school they're given a meal plan and workout.

On campus, each individual player has a customized weight routine and nutrition plan - their workouts and meals as a student athlete are mapped, detail is down to timing they eat an apple. (ie) It's science.

Wright and Morris are bookend tackles for next 3 years. Wanya has much better chance to start and will be LT due to enrolling early and having spring in weight room. Wright issues will be him coming in during the summer.

RT: Wright/ Richmond
RG: Carvin
C: Kennedy
LG: Hall/ Johnson
LT: Morris

If you want to have fun project the D. That is going to be fuuuuuuuun to watch.

How much weight is Wanya going to lift in the spring after January surgery? Edit: Nevermind my question was answered.
