If Pappoe had flipped, he drops to a 3 star. He shuts down his recruitment and sticks with Auburn, he gets back his fifth star without playing a game. Nice to know the formula.Easy. Wanya is officially a Vol. But don't worry, if Wright commits he will drop in rank, unless UGA becomes a contender, then he'll get a bump.
Iirc, Rivals downgraded Morris some in their most recent player rankings update, and that caused him to drop just a little in the 247 Composite.Who downgraded Wanya? He's still highly regarded on the 247 composite. Since that averages all of the main recruiting services, I pretty much ignore everything else. 2019 Top Football Recruits
I think this is correct. It was one of those loose explanations that boiled down to him not camping/interviewing enough with them. A lot of words to not say much, to make it seem like they arent downgrading him for standing them up.Iirc, Rivals downgraded Morris some in their most recent player rankings update, and that caused him to drop just a little in the 247 Composite.
We all thought he would be a day 1 major contributor before we all found out he had the grade/class issues keeping him from being here when he should have been. He will be fine and I look for him to be in the 2 deep this year.I’m not saying you’re wrong. I’m just saying we all thought jj would be a major contributor when he signed. We were wrong. I don’t know if Darnell or Wanya will be ready or not but we still need other players to step up and get better. That’s all I’m saying.
Jeez Chief, I usually try not to quote you, but come on, man. After the day Tennessee had today, your'e still the one trying to instigate stuff and be negative?
You really can't enjoy things, can you? Just keep proving with each post that you're not actually a UT fan. You're just a troll.
It's been said before, and I've been watching recruiting for 20+ years and it holds true to what I've seen: there just are no sure things in recruiting, but over time, a higher percentage of 5 stars turn out to be really good than 4 stars, a higher percentage of 4 stars turn out to be really good than 3 stars, and so on. Any can be good or bad, but the more higher rated players you can compile the better your odds that you will accumulate enough really good players to have a really good team.We all thought he would be a day 1 major contributor before we all found out he had the grade/class issues keeping him from being here when he should have been. Oh I 100% agree with that line of thinking. My point was that no one knew he wouldn't be in shape when he got here when he signed his LOIIt's been said before, and I've been watching recruiting for 20+ years and it holds true to what I've seen: there just are no sure things in recruiting, but over time, a higher percentage of 5 stars turn out to be really good than 4 stars, a higher percentage of 4 stars turn out to be really good than 3 stars, and so on. I agree no one ever thought end of August. But a lot of us got chewed out when we stopped believing the insiders after get fooled two or three times. Most kept buying. No one knew it would take until the end of August for him to make it on campus. Even the "insiders" were giving us the any day now all summer long.
Ah heck, can't let people on here get to you. My wife chews me out (warranted most of the time) enough that these blokes just entertain me.I agree no one ever thought end of August. I would rather him keep trying at RT and have Jahmir Johnson and Morris swap out at LT
LT: Jahmir Johnson/ Morris
LG: Carvin/Locklear
C: Kennedy/ Johnson
RG: Hall/Wright
RT: Richmond/ Tatum
Let Wright get comfortable by starting him out at RG
