WWE Thread III

WWE is so bipolar right now. NXT and CWC are phenomenal, while Raw and Smackdown are sucking wind. Battleground was head and shoulders above Summerslam, and Takeover last night absolutely shamed what we saw tonight.

Well the first two is ran by HHH and the last two are still run by well we know!

I don't think he bladed cause Heyman's reaction looked like he knew Brock messed that up.

The Shane thing at the end tells you that the whole thing was scripted. And Brock dropping the gloves tells you that they got the finish they were after. Whether the blood was supposed to be part of it, Who knows?.

I just have a hard time buying that Lesnar suddenly decided to shoot. It's exactly the kind of thing wwe wants you to mark out over. The color guy even said as it happened "he's looking to open Orton up with those elbows. This is pure malice."

You can absolutely tell the difference, and so can the viewing audience. The McMahon shows are stuck in the past and spinning their wheels. The HHH shows are on fire in the best possible way. Wonder how long it will take for the shareholders to start agitating for real change on Raw and Smackdown.

I'm not saying Lesnar meant to bust him open. I just think it's possible one of Brock's elbows was a bit stiffer than he intended it to be. The shot where Randy is in the corner shows a really jagged cut.

The amount of things I thoroughly didn't enjoy at Summerslam far outweigh those which I did enjoy.

The only thing better than Bobby Roode's GLORIOUS entrance last night was Cena-Styles.

Am I the only one that thought the women's match was really really good? I mean yeah there were a couple of weird looking botches and the wrong person went over. But. The things they were even attempting were insane at some points. Hell of a match imo

And Cena vs Styles. Easily match of the night and great.

Balor vs Rollins felt like it needed more time. But it was a solid match.

Everything else was pretty mediocre though.

Man I'm looking at the roster and there is only one guy on the roster that A) Needs a big time rub by beating Brock and B)Has the talent to continue the momentum.

I'm curious who you guys think should pin Brock

John Cena, obviously, checks all those boxes. Lol.

I think the only believable guy on the roster is Stroman.

Here's my two cents on Lesnar/Orton:

I think the match mostly ended as it was scripted, minus the bleeding. And I think Randy got legitimately busted open, probably unintentionally, which may have resulted in a rushed ending or a couple minor on the fly changes. There was a discernible "thud" when he elbowed Randy on the head, unless I was hearing things. Blade jobs are usually just a nick and start with a trickle of blood. That gash was a gusher.

And this man knows his gashes.

I agree with you for the most part. Even though Rusev and Reigns didn't have a match, I think it was the right call to just have a brawl instead of having the same match that they did on Raw.

Lol at Seth bashing the crowd for chanting about the belts design throughout the match. While I agree with the crowd that the belt's design is stupid... I was getting annoyed that they kept it up the whole match. Like. It's Rollins vs Balor. Shut the hell up already. Lol
