You wanna complain fine, but quit acting as if the seasons over

I'm as mad as anyone, that may be the worst loss of the Zo era simply because of how we choked it away.

However, that loss doesn't doom us to the CBI all of a sudden. I will guarantee we are still in the next updated brackets, and our RPI will still be decent. We obviously just made it a bit harder on ourselves, but to act as if there's no way this team can make the tourney now is simply overreacting.

I agree. That CBI talk is nonsense. We'll definitely make the NIT. I guarantee it.

You are happy with just making the tournament? Your happy trading 2 ins for a loss? With the most talented and experienced team e will ever have under this coach?

bTNo, I know you're probably the biggest homer on here, but there is zero reason that this team should've lost this game tonight. Throw out the horrible refs, throw out the missed FT's by Maymon at the end and any other excuse, this team should've never been in this situation at the end. At some point when a team punches you in the face and the players are looking for someone to take charge and no one does then they look to the bench for help. Sadly, there is none because Martin is clueless. He is an inept in-game coach that is clueless. Pure and simple. Maybe he'll get better as the years go along, but I'm sick and damn tired of watching a team that is freakin' loaded and should roll over a pathetic A & M team get beat at home.

To wit, this was A & M's first true road game of the year. They are a very young team. Yet, they go on the road against an experienced and talented UT team and beat them. That is pathetic. For those that don't know, A & M lost at home back on Dec 31st by 20 to that juggernaut North Texas. Yes, North Texas.

As usual, this team will go down to the wire clinging to a bubble spot when they should be solidly in. It's damn pathetic that we're in year 3 and still having horrible losses like this at home. I could see it if we had a number of injuries or players were sick, but there are none of those things happening. This team is lead by someone who is a NIT coach at best. End of story.

A lot of bad coaches have had enough talent to get them into the dance, the verdict is still out on this one.

Lose to auburn and I will really start to question it, but right now I'd say it's about 75% chance we dance IMO.

No way in hell it's 75%. More like 50/50 at best. This is a NCAA roster with a NIT coach. Martin better hope they play their asses off and bail him (and you) out because if they don't, he is not going to coach them to many wins. Period.

Ok and I never said there was?

It's like people either aren't reading the entire OP, or are forming an opinion before reading it, so they see what they wanna see.

This thread has nothing to do with any of the other stuff, it's simply about our chances of making the dance, that's it.

You happy with your hiding after the LSU game because you were completely wrong on your predictions? Funny how you spewed all that crap and when they were up 15 you were avoiding this site.

This team isn't making the dance playing like this. If they play like the team against Virginia, sure, they can make it. However, they're not that team night in and night out. They'll play good for a couple of games and then no-show against a NC State or go brain dead and choke against an A & M team or get beat by a horrible UTEP team. That's three head scratching losses already and we're at the halfway point. How many more are left?

Again, you don't lose to teams like A & M in the pathetic SEC conference and go to the NCAA's. It's not that hard. We got swept by a horrible UGA team last year. We're staring down the barrel of a gun at getting swept by a horrible A & M team this year. That's just f'n pathetic in year 3 with this much talent and experience.

Well right now Tennessee is projected to win 14 of their remaining 16 games, which would put their record at 24-7. I'm not sure how you wanna break down the percentages, but yea...

So Missouri, Arkansas or LSU aren't going either then? So just Kentucky and Florida from the Sec?

And they were supposed to win tonight by 13-14 points. They were 88% favored to win that game.

That's now 3 inexplicable losses. One at a neutral site to a bad team and two at home to a bad and average team.

Right now, I don't know how in the hell anyone can say this is a NCAA team. I wouldn't give this team a bid, and hell, I'm a fan of the team. I can't imagine what a person on the committee thinks. They see a wildly inconsistent team. Those teams rarely make the NCAA tourney.

Are you crazy? Teams in the SEC can't afford losses like this. The window now is so small that any loss from here on out will keep us out of tourney, same as people who said UTEP loss didn't matter because "it was early in the season", this team this head coach needs every win. How hard is it for some of you to understand?

3 losses they were favored to win
3 wins they were picked to lose

Hmmm

Yet Missouri lost to Georgia who after everything shakes out will probably be worse than A&M....hmmmm

Son you on a mission tonight!!! Preach on, but your fighting lost cause. Most need something to complain about and CCM is giving them easy target!! But I like your style, so carry on and good luck!!

Mizzou isn't going to be worse than A & M. They beat UCLA and NC State. Something we couldn't do. We're also on the verge of getting swept by pathetic A & M. Remember when we got swept by UGA last year and didn't make the tourney? I do.

If you really think this is a NCAA team right now then I've got some beachfront property for you in South Dakota.

Let's see how many more they can lose that they were favored to win and how many more they'll win that they were favored to lose. I'll say right now that they better beat Fla (x 2) or Ky at least once or this team won't be dancing.

They are the type of team that would beat UK then lose to South Carolina.

Had UF's number lately, but they look really good. Another elite 8 or better for them this year if they get healthy.

If they lose to So Car or Auburn then Martin should be fired on the spot. That's how bad those two teams are.
