And still no response to "what makes Nickelback so hated worldwide"? Because its the cool thing to do?

I thought their early stuff was ok, and their first major record.

But their 2005 record, the "Goodbye" song and after has just been awful. For me they make generic rock music that reeks of radio sellout and seems more poppy ever since they got big. Their lyrics are just some really stupid stuff too. I don't think they are the worst, but part of the hate I think is they suck yet somehow they still sell. So either a lot people are lying or they've stolen some of Bieber's fans. Oh and Chad Kroeger is now married to Avril Lavigne, who is another once popular act people seem to love to hate.

Creed just sucks because I find his voice awful, and there are tons of stories about how much of a d-bag the lead singer is; although he had a feud with Fred Durst and that's a hard one to know who to root for.

Speaking of ol' Fred, Limp Bizkit, another group who was big for about 5 years then the world moved past the metal rap phase and they didn't know how to adapt. They haven't been relevant for over a decade though, so making fun of them is almost cruel now.

I can't stand all those bands that got big in the early to mid 2000s in that mold. Puddle of Mudd, Staind, Breaking Benjamin, Trapt. 3 Days Grace is the only one I think is ok but only really their earlier stuff, their last 2 albums are awful.

haha I'm a big Breaking benjamin fan. I think Bens really talented (and they have variety in their songs)

Dave Matthews sucks....try 2 days of him at Bonnaroo...suicide watch.

Breaking Benjamin doesn't suck....totally, although a lot of their songs sound the same.

Rush....suck? WTF man?

Today's pop uh, I mean country is so commercialized it must be produced by Nickelback.

I'm going with Luke Bryan for #1.

I know which one you're talking about, my post was really only joking

I know. The one of his I like doesn't sound like one of his, lol. And I mention it to my husband every time I hear it. I'm thinking it's not one of his more popular ones though?

Actually, I do like the one he did with Dave Matthews. There's one part that Matthews sings in it, that one part and the notes he sings make me feel something.

I've never been a fan of Jay-Z's music. Even though he's been wildly successful, the only songs he has touched that I've even remotely liked were all collaborations, and he was usually bringing up the rear. I can't remember ever hearing a solo by him that I wanted to hear again.
