Def Leppard? I know the drummer from def leppard only has one arm, which would account for the odd number (thanks to bloodhound gang)

Ding Ding Ding. It's an old joke and I don't know who to credit it to, but 1. It's spot and 2. It's hilarious to me.

Whatever the hell "Screamo" is.

I'd rather be trapped in a room and be forced to listen to Nickelback while watching Derrick Dooley UT games.

There is some really good screamo out there (and deviants of the genre), but it's a pretty dead and outdated genre at this point, and a lot of it does suck. I used to be an Underoath fan, but I really don't care for them anymore. Thursday, a quintessential screamo band, is up there with some of my favorites of all time.

Nirvana. Hated them because they brought in the grunge scene which was a wasted decade of rock

.
Wasted decade of rock?
No, my friend, that was the eighties filled with all the hair metal and completely forgetful poppy groups. Grunge actually brought rock music back to being something worth listening to.
Just my opinion.
Dammit, Grand, sometimes you make it hard to love you!

Poison- everything about them sucked, especially their music.

Metallica- I've never understood the appeal of 9 minute songs, of which 7 minutes are vocal-free and the same 4 chords being repeated over and over.

The song "Big Yellow Cab". Dumbest song ever regardless who is singing it.

Seether- for their painful cover of an insipid George Michael song.

Michael Bolton, Celine Dion, snd Kenny G.- no explanation needed here.

Buck Cherry- because they suck.

haha I'm a big Breaking benjamin fan. I think Bens really talented (and they have variety in their songs)

I like them too. Like you said, they've got quite a bit of range. Too bad Ben Burnley started acting like a douche, kicked everyone out of the band and is now pretty much just on his own.

I used to be a underoath fan as well until they no longer had any original band members. Haven't listened to an album of theirs since define the great line.

As to bands I hate:
Aerosmith
Nickelback
Black eyes peas/fergie
Most country
Rap/hip hop exception a couple of outkast songs

I guess I should feel fortunate i dont know who most of the groups listed in this thread are. I dont really keep an active suck list in my head but I know it when I hear it. Usually some needs to mention something Im not a fan of for me tongive it a second thought.

That said...

The NB jokes are probably a little overdone but still funny. I pretty much cant stand modern country. And count me in with the Dave Mathews haters. I wish I had all the brain cells back from all the times some chick forced me to listen to Crash.

I'm dreading the tripe my kids will listen to when they get to that teenage years.

I like a lot of rap, but listening to lil Wayne makes me feel like kicking a litter of kittens.

anything my kids listen to, but when those songs cross over to my station, I suddenly seem to know all the words. Go figure.

Same here man. I actually really liked Define The Great Line at the time, but I had no desire to listen to them after that. Did you ever see them live? Man, they went balls to the wall every night.

So, do y'all automatically decide you don't like a particular tract because of who does it? I'm not like that. There are songs I LOVE, and find out I don't particularly like that band, I like that tract. I just listen to what I like.
