Your Memphis Grizzlies Basketball Thread III

I say this very reluctantly because they can only seat about 30 people but since I am a man of the people I will share..

I’ve seen it. Looks like a place my wife would like. She also wants to try Local Lime.

Local lime is pretty good. The wait is outrageous. The pub is overblown. It’s high end mexican but not insane. If you want to go there, sign in to the wait list online.

Blue Honey is way better imo. A much different experience though.

GG has fallen off for sure. Still a lot of upside with better players around him.

A ton of upside for sure. Still think his role the next 2-3 years will be a scorer off the bench....

Is Jake going to take step up in 3P shooting next year or was this years improvement a mirage from playing on a crappy team....

Jake isn't rotation player at 37% 3P. But at 40-42%, is he?

37% and 33% for his career. JL ain't it

Absolutely agree. Just goes back to my point of putting too much stock in accumulating stats on crap team playing put the string....

I think for GG it’s the opposite. He got worse as the team got crappier. Could be a function of other teams planning, I know.

Not ready to carry a team for sure. No surprise.

Not worried about GG. He was the best player left in the rotation the last couple weeks playing for the Hustle. He was incredible last night against LAL. He’s young and can’t carry a team on his shoulders. But I guarantee that he’s gonna look so much better playing with Ja, Bane, JJJ, Smart, VWJ, and co.

He’s gonna be around for a while and I’m happy with it. Excited to watch him continue to grow and develop.

For where he was picked, and being the youngest player in the draft (IIRC), he's way out performed expectations.

THAT is the difference. Larivia was a 1st rounder (LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL).

There is no real comparison. Same for what Mayo did.
