We were playing the fourth ranked team in the country at their house simpleton. We are playing 20 plus true freshman . Many of these guys have not even played a road game. If you can't understand the challenge that presents then you truly are as ignorant as your posts make you appear . We were incredibly outclassed on experience and stood toe to toe with one of the favorites to make the 4team playoff . Take off the doomsday glasses. This team has gone through immortal hell for the last 5 plus years and have every reason to quit at the first sign of trouble . This team showed tonight that they are different . Hide and watch . We will beat one of the BIG teams this year and you doomsdayers are going to be eating major crow .
Score was about what I expected, but we played them tougher than I expected. As many others have noted, could have been 27-17 if we score instead of the pick 6. We're a lot closer right now than we were a year ago.
I'm going to have a little Blanton's on the rocks and feel good about what we're going to look like in a year or two.

For those that keep calling for the OC's head, keep in mind, he is limited by his qb.
Worley is a gutsy young man. His heart showed out tonight and anybody questioning that is an idiot. That said, he is not the style of qb suited for running this offense. For the read-option to truly be effective, the qb has to be a threat to keep the ball and run. That does not describe Worley. Other teams know, 99% of the time, the rb is going to get the ball, so they can sell out on stuffing the rb and not have to worry about the qb making them pay. Worley is fine as it pertains to the passing part of this style of offense. He is no where near fine where it pertains to the running part of this style of play. To see this offense work, we need a qb with wheels.
