Reaching out to multiple grad transfers tells me he is thinking short term as well

Thinks we need immediate help in the QB room.

2017 stats

JG- 7 games 86 cmp, 139 att, 61.9%, 997 yds, 7.2 y/a, 7.1/ 4 td's, 2 int, 128.7 rating

Chryst- 9 games 77 cmp, 143 att, 53.8 pct, 937 yds, 6.6 y/a, 6.4 ay/a, 8 td, 4 in, 121.8.

Add in that Chryst is two years older and had a much better oline. If i'm missing something, somebody please fill me in

You missed the other 2 years Chryst played.

Also, JG played 9 games and Chryst played 7.

But if JG did have the wins, you would be on here touting that he was a one man show. See....the coaching staff is a lot smarter than you and they want to win NOW...so yeah they would take Keller in a heartbeat.

assumptions lol. I'm not against him joining him the team, just think JG is still the better prospect and current player.

I think JG and WM is getting a bad wrap. They were given little QB coaching so we dont what they can actually be. I think its good we are looking grad transfers but these other QBs are talented they just need development. Hell even with a grad transfer we are still 6-6 might as well develop a more long-term solution

Let's lay this out rather simply. Given the coaches are now talking to 3 possible transfers (if you include Chryst), one can easily draw the conclusion that the new coaching staff doesn't believe JG is the future or the present, and the same goes for any QB that was on the roster in 2017.

If the coaches bring in a transfer or 2 it's likely because they believe these transfers can start for us immediately and provide an upgrade to the QB position.

Pretty simple.

Josh Dobbs looked pretty good in that flawed offense with sub par coaching

JG and WM looked like one of the worst QB rooms in P5
