IMO, the twins committed to Butch months ago and Butch wants them to wait and publicly commit last as the finishing touches on this amazing class.

The twins will be a part of the class, but if you are talking about a possibility of adding game changers like Adoree or Garrett then you better have a gray shirt or two or maybe somebody not make it academically. Adoree and Garrett are game changers end of story.

I am a hard core loyalty guy in recruiting. I am dead against cutting ties with kids that hold up their end of the bargain socially and in the classroom.

It's my belief kids have their time to jump on board and then you move on as a staff.

Every year, we see at least 1-2 who predictably don't qualify academically. I can think of at least one who might be on the fringe in this class. Not sure of others, but I'd say we NEED 4-5 more commits to get 30 on campus next fall. Problem solved.

I agree with this. However, the last "few" recruiting cycles had available holes... This cycle filled/filling at a frenetic pace. Unsure of any available spots with predictions and all. :ermm:

I appreciate what you are saying, but these two brothers won't ever compare to Eric. Eric is a legend. I went to college with Eric and saw him everyday between classes, and that man didn't have a day that went by that someone wasn't yelling at him, etc. He's one of the best S to ever play here, and he's the best S in the NFL in my book.

I dont think anybody "knows for sure", its just really setting these kids up for failure to think they will. Eric was a freak, the twins could be very good and still not compare. I will be happy if they are very good. It will be a bonus if one of them has the career EB did...

They are top athlete's in Georgia and literally no other coaches call them, they don't visit any other schools and they wear UT gear all the time.

ANYONE who doesn't realize these two are already in our class is BLIND!

As much as I would love to see us add another HS DT & a Juco DT to this class, if it meant we lost out on the Berry twins I would not do it. The twins MUST be a part of this class. No exceptions, no discussion, it just has to be that way. If we have to pass on Garrett, Jackson, Reed, whoever, so be it.

Look, I'm aware that the twins have visited Tennessee 1,413,657,092 times but it's arguably still premature to conclude they're vols. Maybe if they visit just one more time we can all get our hopes up.

Yeah i think grades will be the first thing looked at - when you get tight you can't take a chance on a potential non-qualifier
