Wow, I hadn't heard about this until today. Very disturbing. No way UT should recruit this kid if this is true.

I would. After reading the reported charges against him I don't want to see him in an orange jersey. People make mistakes and he may be a decent kid at heart but the charges I read don't make me want him representing UT and I hope the coaching staff feels the same way. If he would participate in that happening to his cousin do we seriously think he would make a good teammate? UT does a great job of building a family atmosphere for athletes. We don't need or want this guy a part of the family. Let him go to the Criminoles or out to LA.

In defense of chavisut, he posted that long before we got the skinny on what he did so I am sure he feels differently now. Read below his post and you will see we finally got the real info.

No criticism of chavisut. I just read about this too. I can't believe it was kept quiet. I wouldn't want anybody to know my name if I was this kid. I hope nobody gives him a free ride to school no matter how good he is at ball. People that help their friends rape family members or anyone else should not be given a free education or an opportunity to get rich in the pros. It may sound harsh but I bet his little cousin would agree.....sick.

Something like that... you don't live it down- ever. Even if he does change, anyone that knows about that incident is going to care about what he's become.

I feel there is more to the story. Fulmer wouldn't back off if he felt the young man would be OK in the future. Remember Jason Respert?

Why? it has to do with recruiting and why we arent recruiting him. If its moved you will see non stop Hood threads made by people who dont frequent the board as much or just dont pay attention.
