Over 98% of the human genome is believed to be “empty”. We don’t know what it does. It’s currently referred to as “junk DNA”.

I have no idea if there is an “inborn gay gene” embedded somewhere in all of that “empty” code.

But I have a difficult time believing that 98% of the human genetic code does absolutely nothing at all - we just don’t have the technology to understand it. Jmo.

I, personally, am also of the opinion that children cannot consent to sexual re-assignment - even with a signed note from their parents.

I disagree on sexual attraction and feel it is innate. It's not perfect, but I use the Kinsey scale as an example. 0 is full heterosexual and 6 is full homosexual, with 1-5 making up the folks somewhere between. I'm a full 6 and would wager you're a full 0. I don't believe those positions can be changed.

To your point on action, I agree. I feel that's the only conscious choice when it comes to sexuality.

100%. Now, if we're talking only a homosexual act it's a different answer. If we're talking actually changing one's sexuality my answer remains the same. Sexuality is innate. Violent acts are decisions.

Groups like NMBLA have been trying to weasel their way into the LGBTQ community for some time and have always been roundly rejected. It's not getting any closer to acceptance. It's detestable and criminal.
