If you are referencing me as being one of those you are absolutely wrong on both counts......I am an old head on this site and me criticizing anyone calling out a poster for labelling them a negavol is not a defense of anyone....it is merely calling it what it is, an attack with name calling which is uncalled for.
Oooh, amusing! Which ones were those? I love when they slip and respond to themselves using the wrong handle. The old ESPN board had some great fake profiles. Don't know if you were ever there before they shut it off, but my favorite was the pregnant teenage LV fan. The poster that created that character should have become a screenwriter.Nah definitely not. I know you’ve been around. I was referencing a couple profiles created within the last two weeks.
We don’t have THAT many new people around here lol. Long term there have been about a dozen regular posters here. Occasionally a legit new profile will turn up for a bit.
Off and on over the years I have noticed when certain posters are catching heat or being ignored (for good reason) new profiles will magically appear to bolster their opinion and agree with them.
There was a period of time where I realized that 3 of the profiles I was going back and forth with were definitely the same person. They started to make mistakes and post as the wrong “person.” Found it crazy someone would go to such lengths to validate their own opinion.
Narcissists are wild“…”
Ivy had to be a relative of Holly she got real hostile if you talked about anything negative that happened when Holly was coaching. There were a couple of rabid Holly fans that used to post as well: ivyleague and the one whose profile picture was a jack@ss come to mind. They disappeared once the freefall was in full effect...
She resurfaced a couple times in the first two seasons to talk sh!t on Kellie, but has disappeared for good ever since. I don't see how anyone could defend Holly after those last two seasons...Ivy had to be a relative of Holly she got real hostile if you talked about anything negative that happened when Holly was coaching.

As a lawyer, I could simply file a freedom of information request and get all the info I need on burrell’s injury. There are no Hipaa issues here because Rae waived her rights to hipaa once she set foot on campus and utilized the university’s facilities. All you experts have no clue about hippa and how it pertains to student athletes. What’s more concerning is the coaching staffs unwillingness to keep the fans in the loop concerning Rae’s recovery. They came right out and told us Wynn had a broken nose. Burrell has NO say in the matter because once again, she waived those rights to privacy concerning any injuries that occur on tax payer and state funded institutions.
They aren't UConn fans, because a UConn fan wouldn't bother to watch their games and know as much details about the team. ...
He's been doing this too long not to have some history as a fan of the program.
They aren't UConn fans, because a UConn fan wouldn't bother to watch their games and know as much details about the team. Bart still posts on the BY from time to time. Remember the name Philster, but not the posting style.
I don't remember Darth on the Summitt, but I do remember elvee...who I believe was a woman. Not Jeff either, since he had his own handle here. I think that Darth used to be a LV fan who turned sour with the Holly and then Kellie hirings. I remember arguing with him about Holly, but stopped when it ended up he was right. I just skip over most of his backhanded compliments, but every now and then he posts something interesting or spot on.
He's been doing this too long not to have some history as a fan of the program.
On these thoughts we'll have to disagree. I'm not sure why you'd think it would eliminate the possibility of them being CT fans because they know a lot of details about the team or have maintained the ruse a very long time.
He made a big deal lately in comparing this UT team to the Rutgers teams of yesteryear, i.e. - all defense and rebounding, and no offense. I looked up Rutgers teams of that era and found they lost to UT a lot in the tournament every time they made a run, whether it was a finals game or a final four game or an elite eight game. I wondered from reading that record if he is a Rutgers fan that developed a hatred of UT from all of those crushing losses.
His comparison to those Rutgers teams was an accurate one, in spite of it still being one of his backhanded compliments. And no, he's not a Rutgers fan. That was the first time in the nearly a decade he's been on this board that he's mentioned them, outside of a relevant game. Besides, we already have a UConn fan posing as a Rutgers fan.
For someone relatively new to the board, yes I'd agree with you. But this is someone who's been posting here at least since I've been in 2014. And he knows a lot...A LOT...about all aspects of Tennessee's athletic program: football, basketball (M and W), administration, etc. I still think he was a Vols fan who got turned off by the decline in the athletic programs. I'm not sure why he's posting still. Probably so he could say, "see, I told you so!" We all know he was bitter about the Kellie hiring. Tbh, I felt the same way he did. I've since warmed up to her a bit, but some SOME of the criticism he's thrown at her is valid.Well, he sure seems to have a crush on Jeff Walz. Maybe he's a Louisville fan. It boggles the mind to think that he's really a Tennessee fan. He not only never has anything positive to say, but he goes way out of his way to say anything negative that he can find, no matter how trivial or inconsequential. His posts are inconsistent with being a fan of the LV's. He either obsessively hates UT for some reason or is an obsessive fan of another team. Nothing else makes sense to me.
I have no idea who Garth is and have not defended anyone on this board .What I have done is taken umbrage over labeling and calling names for anyone who posts on this board just because of the opinion stated.Alex, you have defended Garth more than anybody.
No, this isn't Darth, no way, uh uh...nope
It should be obvious to everyone that Darth, PG1 and now their new clones are here only to sabotage Tennessee. They are CT fans, posing. It’s a tactic so vile, so contemptible that it can ONLY be coming from them.
Editing to say their posts also remind me of a couple of old posters from the early days of the SUmmiTT board. Anyone remember elvee and LVJeff? There were a couple of others. They also remind me of ucbart and Philster from the old boneyard. Don’t know if either of them are still around. Ha!
Hmmm, I do remember those folks. elvee's posts and Darth's are remarkably similar in terms of tone, the rationales used to critique/attack the program, the passive aggressiveness and writing style......... Interesting coincidence I suppose.
Ivy was a super troll. She professed to being a LV supporter but would hurl insults at LV fans with regularity. I was most amazed with how many people on this board actually defended her. Even when she obviously denigrated the fan baseIvy for sure made numerous profiles at one point. She was….interesting.
I thought so as well. But elvee was like that even when Pat was coaching. Wasn't elvee a woman, though?Hmmm, I do remember those folks. elvee's posts and Darth's are remarkably similar in terms of tone, the rationales used to critique/attack the program, the passive aggressiveness and writing style......... Interesting coincidence I suppose.
It was because she was the loudest voice in an echo chamber. Darth called it like it was with Holly, but no one wanted to hear it. Then the majority of the loudest, most aggressive Holly backers all just slithered away when he ended up being right in this case.Ivy was a super troll. She professed to being a LV supporter but would hurl insults at LV fans with regularity. I was most amazed with how many people on this board actually defended her. Even when she obviously denigrated the fan base
(e.g. She didn't wear UT clothing, outside of attending a game, because she didn't want people to think that she went to UT !!!).
Yet MANY posters here took up her defense.
lv's been around for much longer than garth....but if you read their posts lately,,,they sure defend him/it
I know you didn’t say Cardosa. My point was she would upgrade your team so that would be recruiting over somebody already there. Kamilla will get lots of minutes but gosh she is green. you can tell her whole career has been just her being taller than everybody else.
