'10 AR RB Michael Dyer

I dont have much hope for this kid, but in reality, who cares? We have Williams coming back next year to go along with Brown and Oku. Not to mention if Poole returns and I think he will. Position of least concern imo, although I do think Dyer is the real deal.

I could be wrong but I think we are going to get Dyer adm Mosley

if we do it will be a major shock after their quotes to the Auburn site. they flat out said that their visit just moved Tennessee to #2. Direct quote from both of them, "tennessee is 2nd."

kiffin is all about shock and awe in recruiting...so with them saying we are 2nd would play right into that

but i still think they are auburn bound

Gran isn't Dyer's recruiter (although he would be his position coach)...

Its all coach O on him and Mosley from what I have read.

thanks.

I think we land this kid. When I told him to pick Tennessee during the USCe game, he just looked at me with a grin. Obviously can't take much from that but i'm going to hope it was a, "Just wait and you'll see, i'm all Vol!" type of grin.... we'll see...

If aubarn was his leader this whole time then why didn't he just commit a long time ago? Why is he making a big announcement? Logic says the only reason he would make a big announcement is if it was a surprise. This seems to be the case more times than not with recruits in the past. anyone else agree?

No because Logic and Recruiting do not go together.

Plus Auburn is recruiting 3 RBs hard and have them all equal by most accounts and he is our #1.

Plus is announcement about commiting tommorrow was planned before his visit to UT. It is not like he came to UT for a visit and decided to announce.

Dyer and Mosley will announce for Auburn tomorrow, but it's more of a soft commitment, as both have already stated Tennessee is their No. 2 right behind Auburn. For some reason, they both wanted to commit, so coaches know what school they're "in to".

Guys, it matters very little what Dyer does Friday. No matter where he announces, his recruitment will continue unaffected.

+1.

IMO, there is no way he commits to UT tomorrow. The fact is he had his mind made up before the UT visit, and that's what he will announce tomorrow. We will continue to recruit him hard. One thing we know is that this staff is relentless! See Bryce, Janzen, Oku, Teague, and Nuke.

Wouldnt be funny if they both put on AU hats and then throw them down and remove UT hats from a bag!

Why does he tell everyone he is going to Auburn before the decision at 10:30. If I was him I would want it to be a suprise...

Well...everything I am hearing over here in Mongolia...he is Auburn. That is just my input.
