Powell has not decided. We offered him first. He said he would like to take an official to us. If we thump UCLA and look like we are close to being able to beat UF, we can get him. It is not UF or USC because neither of them will offer him as he examines the depth chart the chance to play as early or as often.

Um... UT has no chance with Powell, it's UF or USC and I'm really confident we'll land him.

I'm calling a commit to UF on Sep 19 after we throttle UT. He and OO will be there to see the massacre.

Powell ends up at USC. He doesn't want to see 80,000 pairs of jorts in the same place.

I'm sorry. I have trouble contending with your high-minded homerism. Go spank it to a Florida board. No one is amused by your trolling.

I'm curious, what part of my post had any trace of homerisim?

I'm not trolling, I'm discussing the future destination of recruits, no different from what you're doing.

You've posted 20 times and they've all been in the vein of "You have no chance, he's firmly most definitely a Gator for sure 100% locked up. "

No, no they haven't. I've posted that I was confident that we'd get Riggs and Powell. It's common knowledge that we're in great position with both.

The whole UT has 0% chance doesn't strike you as something only a complete moron would think appropriate?

Depends on which recruit we're talking about. UF has zero chance with Lache Seastrunk, a complete moron would say otherwise.

UT literally has no chance with Powell, there's nothing wrong with that.

I've heard a lot of that crap about guys now wearing orange. If he visits here, we have a chance to reel him in.

That may be because he's true.

As for the second part, ever heard of enjoying the recruiting process?

Ever thought playing for an NFL legend might help your prospects of getting drafted? You think face time with Monte Kiffin isn't going to have any effect? And I'm sure all the competition is selling the idea that Charlie Strong will be leaving for another position soon.

No, not when you're being recruited by a team that has no issue with putting DE's in the league. Looks like Dunlap will be another first rounder.

Strong isn't leaving this year, and even if he does it wont be until our Bowl game. By that time Powell will have probably already committed to us, especially if he chooses to be an EE.

UT's had a lot of success with DL, too. Monte and Orgeron also have success with putting guys in the NFL that do well there. Florida hasn't had that in awhile. I'm not saying Strong will leave, but there has been some noise about it and I'm sure that's being exploited.

Monte and Orgeron have said that Chris Walker will be a first round pick at DE. They know a little bit about the NFL...
