cPanel®sources say five-star defensive end Ronald Powell from Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde still has to be considered a strong lean to USC.
UF feels good because they have DE talent going to the NFL after this season. I think we do also.
J Smith and Copeland in this class ensure that he will not be the only focus of blockers with an extra RB if he comes here and develops a great rush.
TN has tradition in Doug Atkins, Reggie White, Leonard Little, Jonathan Brown, Shane Burton, Sean Ellis, Omari Hand, Parys Haralson, Turk McBride and on a crap team win's wise Robert Ayers made it to the NFL in the first round.
If R. Powell sees what TN has coaching wise and how it appears that Walker, G Williams and Martin are resurrected from the dead NFL wise and they are a disruptive force under Monte and Orgeron, I think there is a very real possibility we get him.
“Right now the two I’m talking to the most is USC and Florida,” Powell said. “Those have been my top two for a while.”
“There are several schools still really recruiting me hard,” Powell said. “Tennessee is really coming on strong. It’s a program I will take a look at.”
“Monte is one of the best in the business,” Powell said. “It would be a great opportunity to play for him. I like the excitement Coach Lane Kiffin is building at Tennessee.”
"I haven't really talked to Tennessee, but we'll see," Powell said. "I've heard good things about Tennessee. I've heard from some of the guys like Markeith Ambles and Jesse Scroggins and they really liked it. Coach O and Monte Kiffin have such good reputations. That is definitely a plus for Tennessee."
"I'd like to see Tennessee," Powell said. "I'd like to check things out. It's a high possibility that I'll be visiting Tennessee."
We have 0 chance.
