I'm confused. Did Rettig really commit to BC, or was that a bogus claim? I thought it wasn't actually mentioned on Rivals.

Its not like UT will have to get a kid off the Kappa Sig intermural team to play QB.

Ainge looked like a washed up has been until Cutt worked with him....now he's in the nfl. Lets see what this staff can do with Nick Stephens. Don't forget about Lamaison. He is a really good juco qb on a very good team.

rivals shows we didn't even offer...so that's our own fault that he verbally committed to BC (if that's even true)

Wow. Tahj Boyd is looking really good right about now. Maybe things wouldn't have worked out if he played here, but his presence would help in recruiting some offensive players...

Well, BC is the top Catholic football program in the nation now.

Still, this really stings. If we don't get a quality QB commit fairly soon, there is no way we'll get the WR & O-line commitments we need so badly.

Not necessarily. Clemson only has two offensive skill positions players committed, and they are both in-state players who probably would have ended up there anyway.

So what if he ended up at Clemson. He still was a highly rated qb in last years class. Everyone believes we will have a hard time pulling recruits without a well know qb. Im just saying he would have helped. Its not like I cry myself to sleep at night with my Tahj Boyd back Tat. I just hope we still get some commits from some big offensive players this year.
